Valve assembly (10) comprises two valve portions, an upper and lower valve portion (12, 14), each having a valve housing indicated generally at (16, 18) which are generally annular and a valve closure member (20, 20') which is pivotaily mounted within the housing. The valve closure member (20,20') is in the form of an annular disc and is provided with spindles (22, 22') by means of which the valve closure member is pivotaily mounted within the housing. The valve closure member (20, 20') and the spindles (22, 22') are machined from a single piece of metal.

L'invention concerne un assemblage de vanne (10) comprenant deux parties de vanne, des parties de vanne supérieure et inférieure (12, 14), ayant chacune un logement de vanne indiqué généralement en (16, 18) qui est généralement annulaire et un élément de fermeture de vanne (20, 20') qui est monté de façon pivotante au sein du logement. L'élément de fermeture de vanne (20,20') est sous la forme d'un disque annulaire et est doté de tourillons (22, 22') au moyen desquels l'élément de fermeture de vanne est monté de façon pivotante au sein du logement. L'élément de fermeture de vanne (20, 20') et les tourillons (22, 22') sont usinés à partir d'une pièce unique de métal.
