Process for manufacturing a plastic fuel tank provided with at least one accessory (14) connected to the internal space of the tank via at least one orifice (12) in the wall (10) of the tank, the accessory (14) including a projecting element (24) extending to the outside of the tank, the processing comprising the steps consisting in providing a film (22) that includes a peripheral region (28) and a border region (30) around an opening in the film (22), in placing the film (22) on the wall (10) of the tank and on the outer surface of the accessory (14) in such a way that the projecting element (24) passes through the film (22) via the opening, in welding the film (22) over its entire peripheral region (28) to the wall (10) of the tank, and in welding the film (22), over its entire border region (30), to the outer surface of the accessory (14).

La présente invention concerne un processus de fabrication d'un réservoir de carburant en plastique avec au moins un accessoire (14) connecté à l'espace intérieur du réservoir via au moins un orifice (12) dans la paroi du réservoir, cet accessoire (14) comprenant un élément faisant saillie (24) s'étendant vers l'extérieur du réservoir. Le processus consiste à prendre un film (22) comprenant une région périphérique (28) et une région de bord (30) autour d'une ouverture prévue dans le film (22), à placer ce film (22) sur la paroi (10) du réservoir et sur la surface extérieure de l'accessoire (14) de manière que l'élément faisant saillie (24) passe à travers le film (22) via l'ouverture, à souder le film (22) sur toute sa région périphérique (28) à la paroi (10) du réservoir et, à souder le film (22) sur toute sa région de bord (30), à la surface extérieure de l'accessoire (14).
