A ceramic honeycomb filter formed by joining, to each other in the flow passage direction, a plurality of ceramic honeycomb structures with a large number of flow passages partitioned by partition walls and sealing specified flow passages. Sealed parts formed on the end faces of at least one honeycomb structure are joined to at least a part of the sealed parts formed at the end face of the honeycomb structure adjacent to the end face of that honeycomb structure.

L'invention concerne un filtre alvéolaire de céramique formé par assemblage d'une pluralité de structures alvéolaires de céramique les unes aux autres dans le sens du passage d'écoulement. Un grand nombre de passages d'écoulement sont séparés par des cloisons, des passages d'écoulement spécifiés étant fermés hermétiquement. Les parties fermées hermétiquement formées sur les faces d'extrémité d'au moins une structure alvéolaire sont jointes à une partie au moins des parties fermées hermétiquement formées au niveau de la face d'extrémité de la structure alvéolaire adjacente à la face d'extrémité de la première structure alvéolaire.
