Copperless mirror having an epoxy paint layer covering a silver layer have at least one of the following properties: (a) a scratch resistance determined by the Clemen test showing scratches of less than 10 µm when applying a weight of 1500 g; (b) a hardness determined by the Persoz pendulum of at least 250 s; (c) a commercially acceptable resistance to at least one glue selected from the group consisting of oxime, alcoxy, MS polymer and rubber. The mirrors have good resistance to handling.

L'invention concerne un miroir sans cuivre présentant une couche de peinture époxy qui recouvre une couche d'argent, qui présente une des propriétés suivantes : (a) une résistance à la rayure déterminée par le test de résistance à la rayure Clemen indiquant des rayures de moins de 10 $g(m)m, lors d'application d'un poids de 1.500 g ; (b) une dureté déterminée par le pendule de Persoz d'au moins 250 s ; (c) une résistance commercialement tolérable à au moins un adhésif sélectionné dans le groupe comprenant oxime, alcoxy, polymère MS et caoutchouc. Lesdits miroirs présentent une bonne résistance au maniement.
