L'invention concerne une unité de distribution (VE) d'un bus de champ appartenant à la technique d'automatisation des procédés et comportant plusieurs appareils de champ. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que cette unité de distribution comprend un microcontrôleur (µC) relié au bus de champ (FB) et servant à transmettre des informations spécifiques des appareils de champ raccordés à l'unité de distribution (VE) de bus de champ.
