(EN) The present invention is related to a method and a system for controlling the transgene segregation and spread. Escape of the gene of interest (TGI) into the environment is prevented by a repressible excision system (RES), which can be controlled by externally applicable means and comprises an excision construct (EC) having a gene encoding recombinase closely linked to the(TGI) and flanked by excision recognition sites (ERSs). The externally applicable means for controlling the repression of the expression of the gene encoding the recombinase enzyme is achieved with or without a repressor construct (RC). The action of the repressible excision system (RES) leads to excision of the transgenic insert, whenever a transgenic organism and the externally applicable means are withdrawn, which occurs if a transgenic organism escapes from the human control.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une technique et un système permettant de contrôler la ségrégation et la dispersion transgénique. Un système (RES) d'excision répressible empêche la dispersion du gène concerné (TGI) dans l'environnement, ce système pouvant être contrôlé par des moyens applicables de façon externe et qui comprend une construction d'excision (EC) possédant un gène codant pour une recombinase étroitement liée au TGI et flanquée par les sites de reconnaissance d'excision (ERS). Ces moyens applicables de façon externe permettant de commander la répression de l'expression du gène codant pour l'enzyme recombinase sont obtenus avec ou sans construction de répresseur (RC). L'action de ce système (RES) d'excision répressible conduit à l'excision de l'insert transgénique, chaque fois qu'un organisme transgénique et que les moyens applicables de façon externe sont retirés, ce qui arrive si un organisme transgénique échappe au contrôle humain.
