WHAT IS CLAIMED IS:

1. A flowable composition for controlling harmful insects and representatives of the order

Acarina, comprising at least one pesticidally active compound, one or more signal substances selected from the group consisting of pheromones, kairomones and attractants, a UV absorber or a UV absoΦer mixture and, if appropriate, one or more additives selected from the group consisting of viscosity-regulating thickeners, fillers, solvents and other formulation auxiliaries,
which comprises 40 to 98 % by weight of the UV absoΦer or of the UV absoΦer mixture,

0.01 to 30 % by weight of one or more signal substance(s), and
0.1 to 20 % by weight of one or more pesticidally active compound(s) selected from the group consisting of the compounds of the formula

a is 0, 1 or 2, where, if a is 2, the two radicals Ri are identical or different,
b is 0, 1 or 2, where, if b is 2, the two radicals R2 are identical or different;
X is methylene, O, S or C(=O),
R1 is Cι-C3alkyl, halo-d-C3alkyl, d-C3alkoxy, halo-Cι-C3alkoxy, fluorine, chlorine or bromine;

2. A composition according to claim 1 which comprises only one pesticidally active compound.

3. A composition according to claim 1 or 2 which comprises a compound of the formula (I) in which a and b are 0 and X is O.

4. A composition as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 3 which comprises a compound of the formula (I) in which A is Ci-dalkyl which is substituted by d-C6alkoxy, -O-N=CH2, -O-N=CH-Cι-C6alkyl, phenoxy, pyridyl, pyridyloxy, or is C2-C6alkenyl or C3-C6alkynyl.

5. A composition according to any one of claims 1 to 3 which comprises a compound of the formula (I) in which A is a radical of the formula (la); R3 is Ci-dalkyl, R4 is hydrogen or Ci-dalkyl; and R5 is hydrogen.

6. A composition according to any one of claims 1 to 3 which comprises a compound of the formula (I) in which A is a radical of the formula (lb); Rβ is Ci-dalkyl or Ci-C6alkoxy; R7 is hydrogen and Y is O.

7. A composition according to any one of claims 1 to 4 which comprises pyriproxyfen as pesticidally active substance.

8. A composition according to any one of claims 1 to 3 and 5 which comprises diofenolan as pesticidally active substance.

9. A composition according to any one of claims 1 to 3 and 6 which comprises fenoxycarb as pesticidally active substance.

10. A composition according to any one of claims 1 or 2 which comprises methoprene as pesticidally active substance.

11. A composition according to any one of claims 1 or 2 which comprises kinoprene as pesticidally active substance.

12. A composition according to any one of claims 1 or 2 which comprises a compound of the formula (II).

13. A composition according to any one of claims 1 or 2 which comprises tebufenozide as pesticidally active substance.

14. A composition according to any one of claims 1 to 13 which comprises 1 to 15% by weight of a pesticidally active compound.

15. A composition according to any one of claims 1 to 14 which comprises 0.01 to 10% by weight of pheromone.

16. A composition according to any one of claims 1 to 15 which comprises 50 to 95% by weight of one or more UV absoΦers of the formulae (VI) to (XII).

17. A composition according to any one of claims 1 to 15 which comprises a compound of the formula (VI) as UV absorber.

18. A composition according to any one of claims 1 to 15 which comprises a compound of the formula (X) as UV absorber.

19. A method of controlling harmful insects and representatives of the order Acarina, which comprises distributing a composition according to any one of claims 1 to 18 in the form of a predetermined number of separate microdrops within the area to be protected against attack by pests.

20. A method according to claim 19 wherein the composition is distributed on an agriculturally cultivated area.

21. A method according to claim 19 or 20 wherein the composition is distributed uniformly over the cultivated area to be protected in the form of microdrops in a range of from 5 to 3,000 μl.

22. A method according to any one of claims 19 to 21 wherein 50 to 100000 microdrops are distributed per 1000 m2 of cropped area.

23. A method according to any one of claims 19 to 22 wherein the microdrops are applied to the plants to be protected.

24. The use of a compound as described in anyone of claims 1 to 9 of the formula (I) in a method as described in anyone of claims 19 to 23.

25. The use of a compound as described in claims 1 , 12 or 13 of the formula (II) in a method as described in anyone of claims 19 to 23.
