(EN)Magnetic separator for eliminating thin and particularly low-magnetized particles, which comprises two magnetic drums, with polarity reversal, rotating and forming together a working slit (16), and having two magnets (3, 4; 5, 6) which are mounted on each front side of the magnetic drums and form a closed magnetic circuit, both magnets being connected by pair on one side of their poles by soft iron strips (7, 8) with different magnetic poles and possessing terminals on the other side (9, 10; 11, 12), into which soft iron particles are inserted to form axes (13, 14), each of the drums (1, 2) being located into a housing presenting in the working slit (16) sliding passages to reduce the opening and to enlarge the outlet, said passages being radially distributed on their periphery and having an axial groove (21) or a star-shaped cross-section. In this manner, a closed system is obtained, considerably less straying than what is known and which greatly eliminates the external straying and which generates a stronger magnetic field in the working slit.
(FR)Separateur magnetique pour l"elimination de particules fines, notamment faiblement magnetisees, comprenant deux tambours magnetiques, polarises en sens inverse, en rotation et formant entre eux une fente de travail (16) et avec deux aimants (3, 4, 5, 6) fixes de chaque cote frontal des tambours magnetiques et formant un circuit magnetique ferme, les deux aimants etant relies par paire d"un cote de leurs poles par des pieces de fer doux (7, 8) avec des poles magnetiques differents et presentant des cosses de l"autre cote (9, 10; 11, 12), dans lesquels des particules de fer doux sont logees pour former des axes (13, 4), les tambours (1, 2) se trouvant chacun dans un logement presentant dans la fente de travail (16) des passages glissant pour reduire l"entree et elargir la sortie et qui sont distribues radialement sur leur pourtour et possedent une gorge axiale (21) ou presentent en coupe un pourtour en etoile. De cette maniere, on obtient un systeme ferme nettement moins dispersant que ce qui est connu et qui elimine largement la dispersion externe et engendre un champ magnetique plus fort dans la fente de travail.
