A shear box for testing shear anisotropy of a structural surface of a rock body, comprising an upper shear box (1) and a lower shear box (2), each of the upper shear box (1) and the lower shear box (2) comprises an outer box (3, 4), an adjustment plate (5), an outer cylinder (6, 7), an adjustment cylinder (8, 9) and an inner cylinder (11, 12), an accommodation cavity for holding the rock body to be tested is formed between the inner cylinders (11, 12) of the upper shear box (1) and the lower shear box (2), the outer box (3), the adjustment plate (5), the outer cylinder (6), the adjustment cylinder (8) and the inner cylinder (11) of the upper shear box (1) are fixedly connected by means of bolts, and at least the inner cylinder (12) in the lower shear box (2) can be rotated at any angle relative to the outer box. Therefore, by replacing the outer cylinders (6, 7), adjustment cylinders (8, 9) and/or inner cylinders (11, 12) having different shapes and sizes, the shear box can perform direct shearing experiments on structural surfaces having different shapes and sizes in any shearing direction.
