(EN) The invention discloses an accommodation ladder control and driving system and a method. The system comprises a power motor for driving a ladder overturning device to collect or put down an accommodation ladder through forward rotation or reverse rotation, a control valve for controlling forward rotation or reverse rotation of the power motor and provided with a control and driving loop between the control valve and the power motor, and a control valve arranged on the control and driving loop between the power motor and the control valve for controlling connection or disconnection of the control and driving loop; when the accommodation ladder is collected in place, the accommodation ladder extrudes a valve rod of the control valve, so that the control valve works to cut off the control and driving loop, and the power motor is immediately stopped working; the valve position of the control valve is changed through the accommodation ladder extruding the valve rod of the control valve in the collection in-place process; and the control valve is controlled to cut off a working medium conveying loop of the power motor, so that the power motor stops collecting of the accommodation ladder, and damage to the steel cable or accommodation ladder structure by continuous rotary tightening of the steel rope connected with the accommodation ladder through the power motor after collection in place of the accommodation ladder is prevented.
