(EN) Provided is a lens unit in which optical axis adjustment of the lens can be carried out easily and which has been made thinner. A holding frame (22) for a lens unit (10) has a frame main body (23) that is cylindrically shaped according to various lenses (11-15). The front end of the frame main body (23) is provided with a protruding part (24) that protrudes to the inside. The protruding part (24) is formed with a thickness that is the same as a flange part of the first lens (11). If the first lens (11) is inserted in a space formed by the protruding part (24), the front surface of the flange part of the first lens (11) and a front surface (24a) of the protruding part (24) are flush with each other. Either or both of the flange part of the first lens (11) and the front surface (24a) has a first light shielding film (16) that functions as an aperture applied thereto.
