The invention concerns a method for preparing a hydraulic binder, characterised in that it consists in mixing at least the following two binders: a) a first hydraulic binder having as one of its constituents the mineralogical compound C4A3S and, b) a second sulphatic binder based on calcium sulphate hemihydrate and/or anhydrite obtained by heat treatment of gypsum. The invention also concerns a binder characterised in that it comprises among its main constituents: a mineralogical compound C4A3S and, b) an $g(a) or $g(b) calcium sulphate hemihydrate compound of general formula CaSO4.0.5H2O and or an anhydrite-III of general formula CaSO4.$g(e)H2O, with $g(e) ranging between 0 and 0.5, preferably between 0.06 and 0.11 or an anhydrite-II of formula CaSO4.
