THAT WHICH IS CLAIMED IS:

1. A juice extractor comprising:
a plurality extractor cups arranged in pairs for squeezing fruit therebetween;
a motor;
a^ shaft connected to said motor;
at least one cup-drive cam- having a hub;
a cup-drive, shaft-hub coupler frictionally securing said shaft and the hub of said at least one cup-drive cam together; and
at least one cup-drive member connected between said at least one cup-drive cam and said extractor cups.
2. A juice extractor according to Claim 1 wherein each of said shaft and the hub of said at least one cup-drive cam is cylindrically shaped and devoid of keying.
3. A juice extractor according to Claim 1 wherein said at least one cup-drive cam comprises a plurality of cup-drive cams; and wherein each of said plurality of cup-drive cams further comprises at least one alignment feature for facilitating relative alignment thereof.
4. A juice extractor according to Claim 3 wherein said at least one alignment feature comprises an opening formed in each of said cup-drive cams at a predetermined position to permit an alignment rod to be inserted through the openings when properly relatively aligned.
5. A juice extractor according to Claim 1 further comprising:
a plurality of orifice tubes associated with said extractor cups;
at least one orifice tube-drive cam;

an orifice tube-drive, shaft-hub coupler frictionally securing said shaft and the hub of said at least one orifice-tube drive cam together; and
at least one orifice tube-drive member
connected between said at least one orifice tube-drive cam and said orifice tubes.
β. A juice extractor according to Claim 5 wherein each of said at least one cup-drive cam and at least one orifice tube-drive cam further comprises at least one alignment feature for facilitating relative alignment thereof.
7. A juice extractor according to Claim 6 wherein said at least one alignment feature comprises an opening formed in each of said at least one cup-drive cam and said at least one orifice tube-drive cam at a predetermined position to permit an alignment rod to be inserted through the openings when properly relatively aligned.
8. A juice extractor according to Claim 1 wherein said cup-drive, shaft-hub coupler comprises inner and outer rings having tapered overlapping surfaces and a plurality of fasteners for urging said inner and outer rings axially together.
9. A juice extractor according to Claim 8 wherein said cup-drive, shaft-hub coupler further
comprises a flange connected to said inner ring.
10. A juice extractor according to Claim 1 wherein said at least one cup-drive cam comprises an integrally formed monolithic cam body having an opening therethrough defining the hub.
11. A juice extractor comprising:
a plurality extractor cups- arranged in pairs for squeezing fruit therebetween;
a motor; .

a shaft connected to said motor;
a plurality of cup-drive cams, each having a hub;
a respective cup-drive, shaft-hub coupler frictionally securing said shaft and each hub of said cup-drive cams together;
each of said plurality of cup-drive cams further comprising at least one alignment feature for facilitating the relative alignment thereof;
each of said shaft and the hubs of said cup-drive cams being cylindrically shaped and devoid of keying; and
at least one cup-drive member connected between said cup-drive cams and said extractor cups.
12. A juice extractor according to Claim 11 wherein said at least one alignment feature comprises an opening formed in each of said cup-drive cams at a predetermined position to permit an alignment rod to be inserted through the openings when properly relatively aligned.
13. A juice extractor according to Claim 11 further comprising:
a plurality of orifice tubes associated with said extractor cups;
a plurality of orifice tube-drive cams;
a respective orifice tube-drive, shaft-hub coupler frictionally securing said shaft and each hub of said orifice-tube drive cams together; and
at least one orifice tube-drive member
connected between said orifice tube-drive cams and said orifice tubes.
14. A juice extractor according to Claim 13 wherein each of said orifice tube-drive cams further 26869

comprises at least one alignment feature for facilitating relative alignment with said cup-drive cams.
15. A juice extractor according to Claim 14 wherein said at least one alignment feature comprises an opening formed in each of said cup-drive cams at a
predetermined position to permit an alignment rod to be inserted through the openings when properly relatively aligned.
16. A juice extractor according to Claim 11 wherein said cup-drive and orifice tube-drive, shaft-hub couplers each comprises inner and outer rings having
tapered overlapping surfaces and a plurality of fasteners for urging said inner and outer rings axially together.
17. A juice extractor according to Claim 16 wherein each of said cup-drive and orifice tube-drive, shaft-hub couplers further comprises a flange connected to said inner ring.
18. A juice extractor according to Claim 11 wherein each of said cup-drive cams comprises an
integrally formed monolithic cam body having an opening therethrough defining the hub.
19. A juice extractor comprising:
a juice extraction assembly and a drive
assembly connected thereto;
said drive assembly comprising
a shaft,
at least one cam having a hub, and
a shaft-hub coupler frictionally securing
said shaft and the hub of said at least one cam
together.
20. A juice extractor according to Claim 19 wherein each of said shaft and the hub of said at least one cam is cylindrically shaped and devoid of keying.

21. A juice extractor according to Claim 19 wherein said at least one cam comprises a plurality of cams; and wherein each of said plurality of cams further comprises at least one alignment feature for facilitating relative alignment thereof.
22. A juice extractor according to Claim 21 wherein said at least one alignment feature comprises an opening formed in each of said cams at a predetermined position to permit an alignment rod to be inserted through the openings when properly relatively aligned.
23. A juice extractor according to Claim 19 wherein said shaft-hub coupler comprises inner and outer rings having tapered overlapping surfaces and a plurality of fasteners for urging said inner and outer rings axially together.
24. A juice extractor according to Claim 23 wherein said shaft-hub coupler- further comprises a flange connected to said inner ring.
25. A juice extractor according to Claim 19 wherein said at least one cam comprises an integrally formed monolithic cam body having an opening therethrough defining the hub.
26. A method for making a juice extractor comprising a juice extraction assembly and a drive assembly connected thereto, with the drive assembly comprising a shaft and at least one cam having a hub, the method comprising:
frictionally securing the shaft and the hub of the at least one cam together using a shaft-hub coupler.
27. A method according to Claim 26 wherein each of the shaft and the hub of the at least one cam is cylindrically shaped and devoid of keying.
28. A method according to Claim 26 wherein the at least one cam comprises a plurality of cams; and ^ Q

wherein each of the plurality of cams further comprises at least one alignment feature for facilitating relative alignment thereof.
29. A method according to Claim 28 wherein the at least one alignment feature comprises an opening formed in each of the cams at a predetermined position to permit an alignment rod to be inserted through the openings when properly relatively aligned.
30. A method according to Claim 26 wherein the shaft-hub coupler comprises inner and outer rings having tapered overlapping surfaces and a plurality of fasteners for urging the inner and outer rings axially together.
31. A method according to Claim 30 wherein the shaft-hub coupler further comprises a flange connected to the inner ring.
32. A method according to Claim 30 wherein the at least one cam comprises an integrally formed
monolithic cam body having an opening therethrough defining the hub.
