CLAIMS:

1. A method performed by a wireless device (130) operating in a wireless

communications network (100) wherein a plurality of beams (121) is transmitted by one or more network nodes (111 , 113, 114) operating in the wireless communications network (100), the method comprising:

- generating (602) a log over a period of time, the log comprising: a) information about a first set of beams (122) in the plurality of beams (121) detected by the wireless device (130), and b) a time of detection, by the wireless device (130), of the first set of beams (122), the log comprising the information and the time of detection for both of:

o a first set of time periods when the wireless device (130) was in a connected state in the wireless communications network (100), the first set of time periods being comprised in the period of time, and o a second set of time periods when the wireless device (130) lacked a connection in the wireless communications network (100), the second set of time periods being comprised in the period of time, and

- sending (605) the generated log to a first network node (111) operating in the wireless communications network (100).

2. The method according to claim 1 , further comprising:

- receiving (606), from the first network node (111), an indication

indicating at least one of: a set of reference signals and a second set of beams (123), the wireless device (130) is to at least one of: a) provide a report on to the first network node (111) and b) evaluate for beam selection when not being connected to the wireless network(100), the indication being based on the sent log.

3. The method according to any of claims 1-2, further comprising:

- receiving (601), from the first network node (111) or from a second network node (112) operating in the wireless communications network (100), a configuration configuring the wireless device (130) with at least one of:

a) a type of information to be added to the log,

b) an amount of information to be added to the log,

c) a time when the information is to be added to the log, d) a first condition to be met for the information to be added to the log,

e) a periodicity with which the information is to be added to the log, and

f) a second condition indicating when the added information is to be removed from the log.

4. The method according to any of claims 1-3, further comprising:

- sending (603), to the first network node (111) or any of the one or more network nodes (113, 114), a first indication indicating a presence of the log.

5. The method according to any of claims 1-4, further comprising:

- receiving (604), from the first network node (111), a request to send the log.

6. The method according to any of claims 1-5, wherein the information is a first information, and wherein a type of information of the first information, comprises one or more indicators of at least one of:

a. an identifier for each of the beams in the first set of beams (122), b. a cell identifier associated with each of the beams in the first set of beams (122),

c. an identifier of the one or more network nodes (111 , 113, 114)

transmitting each of the beams in the first set of beams (122), d. a strength of a signal in a beam,

e. a quality of a signal in a beam,

f. a timing advance used when transmitting in uplink, and

g. an interference level.

7. The method according to any of claims 1-6, wherein the information is a first information, and wherein the log further comprises second information regarding, in the period of time, at least one of:

a. a speed of the wireless device (130),

b. a type of reference signals detected by the wireless device (130), and c. a number of reference signals of a certain type detected by the wireless device (130).

8. A computer program (1108), comprising instructions which, when executed on at least one processor (1 104), cause the at least one processor (1 104) to carry out the method according to any one of claims 1 to 7.

9. A computer-readable storage medium (1109), having stored thereon a

computer program (1108), comprising instructions which, when executed on at least one processor (1 104), cause the at least one processor (1104) to carry out the method according to any one of claims 1 to 7.

10. A method performed by a first network node (11 1) operating in a wireless communications network (100), wherein a plurality of beams (121) is transmitted by one or more network nodes (11 1 , 113, 114) operating in the wireless communications network (100), the method comprising:

- receiving (704), from at least one wireless device (130) operating in the wireless communications network (100), a log generated over a period of time, the log comprising: a) information about a first set of beams (122) detected by the wireless device (130), the first set of beams (122) being comprised in the plurality of beams (121), and b) a time of detection, by the wireless device (130), of the first set of beams (122), the log comprising the information and the time of detection for both of: o a first set of time periods when the wireless device (130) was in a connected state in the wireless communications network (100), the first set of time periods being comprised in the period of time, and o a second set of time periods when the wireless device (130) lacked a connection in the wireless communications network (100), the second set of time periods being comprised in the period of time, and

- determining (705), based on the received log, at least one of: a set of reference signals and a second set of beams (123), the wireless device (130) or another wireless device operating in the wireless

communications network (100) is predicted to detect in a future time period, and is to at least one of: a) provide a report on to the first network node (1 11) and b) evaluate for beam selection when not being connected to the wireless communications network (100).

The method according to claim 10, wherein the receiving (704) comprises receiving a respective log for each wireless device in a plurality of wireless devices operating in the wireless communications network (100), and wherein the determining is further based on the respective log received from each wireless device in the plurality of wireless devices.

12. The method according to any of claims 10-11 wherein the method further comprises:

- initiating sending (706), to the wireless device (130) or to the or another wireless device, an indication indicating the determined at least one of: the set of reference signals and the second set of beams (123), the indication being based on the received log.

13. The method according to any of claims 10-12, further comprising:

- sending (701), to the wireless device (130), a configuration configuring the wireless device (130) with at least one of:

a) a type of information to be added to the log, b) an amount of information to be added to the log,

c) a time when the information is to be added to the log, d) a first condition to be met for the information to be added to the log,

e) a periodicity with which the information is to be added to the log, and

f) a second condition indicating when the added information is to be removed from the log.

14. The method according to any of claims 10-13, further comprising:

- receiving (702), from the wireless device (130), a first indication

indicating a presence of the log.

15. The method according to any of claims 10-14, further comprising:

- sending (703), to wireless device (130), a request to send the log.

16. The method according to any of claims 10-15, wherein the information is a first information, and wherein a type of information of the first information comprises one or more indicators of at least one of:

a. an identifier for each of the beams in the first set of beams (122), b. a cell identifier associated with each of the beams in the first set of beams (122),

c. an identifier of the one or more network nodes (1 11 , 1 13, 1 14)

transmitting each of the beams in the first set of beams (122), d. a strength of a signal in a beam,

e. a quality of a signal in a beam,

f. a timing advance used when transmitting in uplink, and

g. an interference level.

17. The method according to any of claims 10-15, wherein the information is a first information, and wherein the log further comprises second information regarding, in the period of time, at least one of:

a. a speed of the wireless device (130),

b. a type of reference signals detected by the wireless device (130), and c. a number of reference signals of a certain type detected by the

wireless device (130).

18. The method according to any of claims 10-17, further comprising:

- initiating sending (707), to another network node (1 12, 1 13, 1 14) comprised in the wireless communications network (100), another indication, the another indication indicating the received log.

19. A computer program (1209), comprising instructions which, when executed on at least one processor (1205), cause the at least one processor (1205) to carry out the method according to any one of claims 10 to 18.

20. A computer-readable storage medium (1210), having stored thereon a

computer program (1209), comprising instructions which, when executed on at least one processor (1205), cause the at least one processor (1205) to carry out the method according to any one of claims 10 to 18.

21. A wireless device (130) configured to operate in a wireless communications network (100) wherein a plurality of beams (121) is configured to be transmitted by one or more network nodes (111 , 113, 114) configured to operate in the wireless communications network (100), the wireless device (130) being further configured to:

- generate a log over a period of time, the log being configured to

comprise: a) information about a first set of beams (122) in the plurality of beams (121) configured to be detected by the wireless device (130), and b) a time of detection, by the wireless device (130), of the first set of beams (122), the log being further configured to comprise the information and the time of detection for both of:

o a first set of time periods when the wireless device (130) was in a connected state in the wireless communications network (100), the first set of time periods being comprised in the period of time, and o a second set of time periods when the wireless device (130) lacked a connection in the wireless communications network (100), the second set of time periods being comprised in the period of time, and

- send the generated log to a first network node (111) configured to operate in the wireless communications network (100).

22. The wireless device (130) according to claim 21 , further configured to:

- receive, from the first network node (111), an indication configured to indicate at least one of: a set of reference signals and a second set of beams (123), the wireless device (130) is to at least one of: a) provide a report on to the first network node (111) and b) evaluate for beam selection when not being connected to the wireless network(100), the indication being configured to be based on the lo configured to be sent.

23. The wireless device (130) according to any of claims 21-22, further

configured to:

- receive, from the first network node (111) or from a second network node (112) configured to operate in the wireless communications

network (100), a configuration being configured to configure the wireless device (130) with at least one of:

a) a type of information to be added to the log, b) an amount of information to be added to the log,

c) a time when the information is to be added to the log, d) a first condition to be met for the information to be added to the log,

e) a periodicity with which the information is to be added to the log, and

f) a second condition configured to indicate when the added information is to be removed from the log.

24. The wireless device (130) according to any of claims 21-23, further

configured to:

- send, to the first network node (111) or any of the one or more network nodes (113, 114), a first indication being configured to indicate a presence of the log.

25. The wireless device (130) according to any of claims 21-24, further

configured to:

- receive, from the first network node (111), a request to send the log.

26. The wireless device (130) according to any of claims 21-25, wherein the

information is a first information, and wherein a type of information of the first information, is configured to comprise one or more indicators of at least one of:

a. an identifier for each of the beams in the first set of beams (122), b. a cell identifier associated with each of the beams in the first set of beams (122),

c. an identifier of the one or more network nodes (111 , 113, 114)

configured to transmit each of the beams in the first set of beams (122),

d. a strength of a signal in a beam,

e. a quality of a signal in a beam,

f. a timing advance used when transmitting in uplink, and

g. an interference level.

27. The wireless device (130) according to any of claims 21-26, wherein the information is a first information, and wherein the log is further configured to comprise second information regarding, in the period of time, at least one of: a. a speed of the wireless device (130),

b. a type of reference signals configured to be detected by the wireless device (130), and

c. a number of reference signals of a certain type configured to be

detected by the wireless device (130).

28. A first network node (111) configured to operate in a wireless

communications network (100), wherein a plurality of beams (121) is configured to be transmitted by one or more network nodes (111 , 113, 114) configured to operate in the wireless communications network (100), the first network node (111) being further configured to:

- receive, from at least one wireless device (130) configured to operate in the wireless communications network (100), a log configured to be generated over a period of time, the log being configured to comprise: a) information about a first set of beams (122) configured to be detected by the wireless device (130), the first set of beams (122) being configured to be comprised in the plurality of beams (121), and b) a time of detection, by the wireless device (130), of the first set of beams (122), the log being further configured to comprise the information and the time of detection for both of:

o a first set of time periods when the wireless device (130) was in a connected state in the wireless communications network (100), the first set of time periods being comprised in the period of time, and o a second set of time periods when the wireless device (130) lacked a connection in the wireless communications network (100), the second set of time periods being comprised in the period of time, and

- determine, based on the log configured to be received, at least one of: a set of reference signals and a second set of beams (123), the wireless device (130) or another wireless device configured to operate in the

wireless communications network (100) is configured to be predicted to detect in a future time period, and is to at least one of: a) provide a report on to the first network node (11 1) and b) evaluate for beam selection when not being connected to the wireless communications network (100).

29. The first network node (11 1) according to claim 28, wherein to receive

comprises to receive a respective log for each wireless device in a plurality of wireless devices operating in the wireless communications network (100), and wherein to determine is configured to be further based on the respective log configured to be received from each wireless device in the plurality of wireless devices.

30. The first network node (11 1) according to any of claims 28-29 wherein the first network node (1 11) is further configured to:

- initiate sending, to the wireless device (130) or to the or another wireless device, an indication configured to indicate the least one of: the set of reference signals and the second set of beams (123) configured to be determined, the indication being configured to be based on the log configured to be received.

31. The first network node (11 1) according to any of claims 28-30, being further configured to:

- send, to the wireless device (130), a configuration configured to

configure the wireless device (130) with at least one of:

a) a type of information to be added to the log, b) an amount of information to be added to the log,

c) a time when the information is to be added to the log, d) a first condition to be met for the information to be added to the log,

e) a periodicity with which the information is to be added to the log, and

f) a second condition indicating when the added information is to be removed from the log.

32. The first network node (11 1) according to any of claims 28-31 , further configured to:

- receive, from the wireless device (130), a first indication configured to indicate a presence of the log.

33. The first network node (11 1) according to any of claims 28-32, further

configured to at least one of:

- send, to wireless device (130), a request to send the log, and

- initiate sending, to another network node (112, 113, 114) comprised in the wireless communications network (100), another indication, the another indication being configured to indicate the log configured to be received.

34. The first network node (11 1) according to any of claims 28-33, wherein the information is a first information, and wherein a type of information of the first information is configured to comprise one or more indicators of at least one of:

a. an identifier for each of the beams in the first set of beams (122), b. a cell identifier associated with each of the beams in the first set of beams (122),

c. an identifier of the one or more network nodes (1 11 , 1 13, 1 14)

configured to transmit each of the beams in the first set of beams (122),

d. a strength of a signal in a beam,

e. a quality of a signal in a beam,

f. a timing advance used when transmitting in uplink, and

g. an interference level.

35. The first network node (11 1) according to any of claims 28-34, wherein the information is a first information, and wherein the log is further configured to comprise second information regarding, in the period of time, at least one of: a. a speed of the wireless device (130),

b. a type of reference signals configured to be detected by the wireless device (130), and

c. a number of reference signals of a certain type configured to be detected by the wireless device (130).
