A fully automatic pigeon basket, crate, or cage assembly (1) comprising vertically stacked stalls, arranged in several vertical rows, having several vertically slidable doors (2) covering all of said stalls (one sliding door per vertical column of stalls) and opened by gravity. Each portion of the sliding front door covering a stall is provided with an internally extending stop (6) which is firmly attached to the inner side of the door. An electromagnetic solenoid (7) positioned at the bottom of each vertical column of stalls, having an armature or piston (8) against which the stop (6) rests when the solenoid (7) is deenergized, controls the drip of the door. Upon a fraction of a second energization of each individual solenoid (7), the armature (8) is withdrawn from its supporting position of the stop (6) then immediately pushed back out to the extended stop position by a spring (9), thereby allowing just one stop (6) to drop down with the sliding door (2) by gravity to the next higher stop (6) positioned on the door (2) at which time the downward movement of the stop (6) is arrested allowing full opening of the upper door portion of the upper stall. A fully automatic electrical system controls the various solenoids to provide a timed interval between the opening of one stall and a lower stall so that the pigeons are released, one at a time, at timed intervals. In some cases, two or more stalls may be opened at the same time after a time interval.

Disclosed is an expansion-molded product of an electrically conductive polypropylene-based resin having a high compression strength and a low surface resistivity, which is prepared by charging, into a mold, pre-expanded particles of a polypropylene-based resin containing a conductive carbon wherein, in a DSC curve obtained during temperature-raising from 40 °C to 220 °C at a rate of 10 °C/min in a differential scanning calorimeter, a heat of melting β [J/g] of a melting peak ascribed to the crystalline state inherent to the resin itself and a heat of melting α [J/g] of a melting peak emerging in the higher temperature side of this perk satisfy a formula (2): 0.25 ≤ α/(β+α) ≤ 0.60, and heating the pre-expanded particles by using a steam having a temperature which is higher than the above lower melting peak and lower than a boundary temperature of the two melting peaks.

A physiological pressure measuring system usable in conjunction with an intravascular infusion line (14), (16) leading to a patient (13) whose pressure is to be monitored. The system includes a detector (15) having a transparent chamber (25) interposed in the line and a flexible bulb (20) mounted therein whose exterior is subjected to the fluid pressure in the chamber, the bulb interior communicating with a flexible pipe (21) terminating in a hollow plug (22) vented to the atmosphere whereby the bulb (20) is caused to collapse when the infusion fluid pressure which reflects the physiological pressure is greater than atmospheric. Associated with the detector (15) is a fluid pressure transducer (27) yielding a signal as a function of the applied pressure, the transducer imput port being in the form of a tubular jack (26) adapted to telescopically receive the plug. When the plug (22) is inserted in the jack (26), a seal is effected to create a closed air column which exerts pressure on the transducer (27). The effective length of the column depends on the relative axial position of the plug; and as the plug (22) is advanced into the jack, the column is shortened to thereby compress the air entrapped therein. A point is reached in the course of advance when the column pressure matches the chamber fluid pressure, limited further advance resulting only in dilation of the bulb (20) without any change in column pressure. The transducer (27) senses the matching column pressure to provide the desired physiological pressure reading.

A repair parts price decision management system can eliminate irregularities of repair parts price setting, reduce the time required until setting of the sales price of the repair parts is complete, and enable an inexperienced staff to easily decide the price of repair parts. A repair part whose price is decided by a repair part price decision management device (20) according to the price table price setting, the similar part price setting, and cost information price setting selectively specified on one of the terminals (10) is registered as regular registration data in a parts DB (database) (40) while a repair part whose price is not decided is registered as temporary registration data in a price setting method history management DB (database) (50). Furthermore, when evaluation of a repair part which is not judged to have profit is decided, the temporary registration data becomes regular registration data.

When a continuous oscillation laser output is to be pulsed by utilizing a Q switch, a conventional method using the Q switch involves a problem that when a frequency is changed, an oscillation excitation condition changes and a pulse waveform and a peak output change simultaneously so that dull finishing cannot be made stably. The present invention reduces an oscillator loss of a laser oscillator at the time of OFF of pulse by lowering a high-frequency signal output to be applied to the Q switch and controls the pulse waveform to a range which is suitable for the dull finish of rolls. An extremely satisfactory dull surface can be obtained in accordance with the dull finishing method of the present invention.

A time division multiplex loop communication system for voice and data with multiaccess time slot seizure and data transmission capability from all station nodes (11, 12) without changing the idle, nonreserved, status of the seized time slot. Station node apparatus (15) sends bursty data packets from a node when a time slot is not busy serving a longer duration voice telephone call. The apparatus eliminates the need for inefficient time slot request, acknowledgement and reservation procedures which require several TDM frames to complete and which are typically longer in duration than the bursty data packet to be transmitted. All stations have access to all time slots for bursty data transmission under control of loop interface circuitry which statistically ensures the successful data transmission from all sending nodes. The interface circuitry includes input (17) and output (21) buffers, slot and bit identification circuitry (19), bit stream retard circuitry (18), output selector circuitry (24), bypass decision circuitry (23), and data and voice insertion control circuitry (20) comprising a slot decision control circuit (31), a seizure timing circuit (60) and an acknowledgement check circuit (61).
