Said manufacturing method comprises the steps of mixing an elastomer containing a dielectric and/or magnetic filler with a curing agent in order to form a first absorber layer (2); and attaching the resulting mixture, by vulcanization method, on a base material (1 ) suitable to be attached on the outer surface of the platform to which the elastomeric radar absorbing material (R) is to be attached and having a shape corresponding to the outer surface of the platform.
