The invention relates to a device for correcting the optimum angle of a ladder relative to the ground in order to comply with applicable safety precautions. The device is provided with an electrical sensor for measuring the angle of the ladder relative to the ground, combined with a microprocessor which processes this data in accordance with the nature of the ground and the size of the ladder; it subsequently generates a sound signal with an indicator light if the angle measured corresponds to the safety angle. The invention provides a solution to the problem of minimising the risk of accidents when safety precautions are not followed when positioning the ladder, and specifically as regards the angle thereof relative to the ground.

The invention relates to a cooling system for concentrating solar collectors with recovery of heat from water heating. Said system uses a circuit for cooling by exchanging heat from the concentrating cells in a closed circuit. Once a setpoint temperature has been reached, the heated water rises by the thermosiphon principle and flows into a tank for another use. Said water is subsequently replaced by cold water from the distribution network for a new cycle.

The invention relates to a novel means that facilitate evacuation of a baby from an unbreathable atmosphere and to a baby rescue bag supplied with compressed air from the respiratory apparatus of the rescue worker or firefighter, or supplied with oxygen. The bag, owing to the structure thereof, makes it possible to ensure that the baby is protected from impact, sharp objects, spray of solid, corrosive, or chemical materials, radiating heat, flames, electrical current, smoke, toxic gases, etc. The baby rescue bag is used to facilitate evacuation of the baby to a safe place. The evacuation is done by the rescue worker, by directly carrying the bag, or by using a rope (vertically ascending or descending ropeway technique).

The invention relates to a method for mapping artificial magnetic fields. The invention makes use of the magnetoresistive sensors with which mobile telephones are equipped, and of position sensors. According to the invention, a computer application retrieves magnetic field and position data captured with the corresponding precision. This data is sent in batches to a central server where it is processed and saved in a database. Once the data has been processed, it can be retrieved by mobile telephones equipped with position and orientation sensors. An application can be used to display an interpolation of the magnetic field according to the user’s position. This method allows people with electromagnetic sensitivity or idiopathic environmental intolerance attributed to electromagnetic fields (IEI-EMF) to visualize magnetic fields and to avoid areas with strong magnetic fields.

Said microcontroller implements a method for capturing data relating to the pilgrim and sending said data to a central server which processes the data and renders it accessible via a web interface in a secure manner to the members of the pilgrim's family. The armband can also be equipped with special sensors according to the state of health of the pilgrim, such as a pulse sensor or a blood glucose level sensor.

The present invention relates to the synthesis of a novel material, titanium (III) phosphite [Τi2(ΗΡO3)3], which did not previously exist in the literature. Said compound crystallizes in a hexagonal system, space group P63/m. Said synthesis was carried out in the context of a power storage application. Up to now, in batteries, phosphites have only been used in organic forms as additives in electrolytes playing the role of stabilizers, thus enabling improved safety of use. In the literature, inorganic metal phosphites have never been used as anode material in rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. This is the subject of this work.
