This technique (Dynamic Underbalanced Drilling- DUBD) is based on basic physical and fluid mechanics laws to create an underbalanced zone below and around the bit. This technique utilizes the high velocities of drilling fluid coming out from nozzles of drill bits and the kinetic energy associated with this velocity to create this underbalanced zone. As kinetic energy increases at a fixed point the pressure will drop at this point. So we make some modifications to nozzle size and orientation and bit profile to keep this high velocity and prevent hitting the formation perpendicularly to prevent converting this kinetic energy back to pressure when the velocity becomes zero at the formation below the bit. We modify the nozzles to cause the mud flow parallel to the formation below the bit so create pressure drop in this area. This pressure drop will be restored when velocity drops. So as mud enters the annulus above the bit, mud slows down and pressure rises to its normal values. This technique will increase ROP and reduce formation damage. DUBD enables getting data about reservoir while drilling. These data include reservoir fluids, pressure and permeability. The reduction in drilling cost and time will be great.

The invention relates to a dual system for collecting solar light and heat, previously performed separately, in light-permeable, solar-heat-reflecting plastic sheets by: 1) concentrating the solar heat accumulated in the sheets on a heat-absorbent tube containing a liquid that is used to boil water under high pressure to produce steam in order to rotate turbines for generating electricity; and 2) focusing solar light (without heat) on a convex lens that concentrates the light at the inlet of an optical fibre, repeating the process, and combining the plurality of optical fibres carrying the concentrated light into a single optical fibre cable that focuses on a photovoltaic cell having high electricity generation capacity, thus generating clean and economical energy.

The present invention relates to an eco-friendly metal fuel engine that does not emit harmful exhaust. The inventive engine uses metals, metal hydrides as fuel instead of the currently used gaseous and fossil fuel. The engine is especially designed to use the latent energy of metals, metal hydrides and metal oxides and convert it into mechanic and kinetic energy. The engine has specific valves and systems that pump and regulate the metal fuel amount introduced into the combustion chamber of the engine then flame it using water. In addition, the metal fuel engine discharges the emitted exhaust and converts it into fuel to be reused. Therefore, it is an energy saving and eco-friendly engine. The metal fuel is cost effective because it is made of metals, metal hydrides and metal oxides that are available in nature. Such materials are produced depending on the solar energy, so they are cost- effective and they offer competition to the other energy sources. For example, the sodium metal is available in sea and ocean water; hence it is obtained by a low-cost method. A construction method for lateral distribution of loads in super high-rise buildings using peripheral arms to give balance and stability to the building in order to reduce the effect of wind, earthquakes and explosions as well as increasing the utilized area. This is done by the construction of super high-rise buildings of regular or irregular cross-section along with the construction of a group of a tilted and outwardly curved peripheral arm of a feather shape around building corners. Then, tying these arms from the middle to building corners and from edges to each other from multiple tying points along building height using steel wire cables to work on the lateral distribution of building loads to these peripheral arms. These arms are with small cross-section at the bottom and cross- section increases with height, also many holes should be set in these arms to prevent from being wind estop and to give the desired aesthetic view which provides ventilation, visibility, and day lighting necessary for building. The peripheral arms varies in quantity, size and number of tying points between the building and the peripheral arms, according to building shape, height, loads and forces need to be outwardly distributed.
