Abstract:
The present invention reduces the frequency of damage to a coaxial cable when stripping a cladding layer, thus reducing the cost of a multicore cable. A multicore cable 10 comprises a plurality of coaxial cables 11 that are arranged in parallel, and ground members 15, 16 that are conductively connected to the coaxial cables 11. The coaxial cables 11 each have an interior conductor 11a, an interior insulation layer 11b that covers the outer circumferential surface of the interior conductor 11a, an exterior conductor 11c that covers the outer circumferential surface of the interior insulation layer 11b, a cladding layer 11d that covers the outer circumferential surface of the external conductor 11c, a stripped section 11e in which a section of the cladding layer 11d in a circumferential direction is stripped so as to expose the external conductor 11c, and a conducting member 21 that is filled into the stripped section 11e. The ground member 15 is conductively connected to the conducting member 21 that is filled into the stripped section 11e.
