Resumen
(EN) The present invention provides an improved solid state fermentation device that combines all of the operations of microorganism cultivation (sterilization, inoculation, cultivation, extraction, and post etraction treatment). This solid state fermentation device is modular in nature and operates in a contained manner so that the live microorganisms from the reactor cannot come into contact with the environment and pollute the environment and also so that the environment inside the bioreactor is aseptic. Another aspect of this invention allows fermentation of microorganisms without inhibiting the growth of the microorganism. Specifically, the bioreactor is designed to remove heat that accumulates inside the bioreactor during fermentation by conduction. Additionally, there is a mechanism to add fluid to the interior of the bioreactor that permits equal distribution and precise control of a variety of environmental parameters. For example, the bioreactor of the present invention provides a means to add nutritive media to the microorganisms at any time durinng the fermentation process without disturbing the fermenting microorganisms. Furthermore, the bioreactor of the present invention provides a mechanism to mix the contents of the bioreactor at any time and for any duration during the fermentation process. Finally, the present bioreactor provides a means of extracting desired microbial products from the bioreactor without opening the bioreactor.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un dispositif de fermentation en milieu solide amélioré combinant toutes les opérations de culture de micro-organismes (stérilisation, inoculation, culture, extraction, et traitement post-extraction). Ce dispositif de fermentation en milieu solide, de nature modulaire, fonctionne de manière isolée, de sorte que les micro-organismes vivants provenant du réacteur ne peuvent ni entrer en contact avec l'environnement ni polluer ce dernier, l'intérieur du bioréacteur restant ainsi aseptique. Un autre aspect de cette invention concerne un processus de fermentation de micro-organismes n'inhibant aucunement la croissance de ces micro-organismes. Le bioréacteur susmentionné est plus particulièrement destiné à éliminer la chaleur accumulée à l'intérieur de ce bioréacteur, au cours du processus de fermentation par conduction. Un mécanisme est par ailleurs destiné à ajouter un fluide à l'intérieur de ce bioréacteur, afin de permettre une répartition équitable et une régulation précise de différents paramètres environnementaux. Le bioréacteur de la présente invention comporte par exemple un organe destiné à fournir des milieux nutritifs audits micro-organismes à n'importe quel moment du processus de fermentation, sans pour autant nuire à ces micro-organismes en fermentation. Le bioréacteur de la présente invention comprend en outre un mécanisme destiné à mélanger les contenus de ce bioréacteur à n'importe quel moment du processus de fermentation, et ce aussi longtemps que nécessaire. Enfin, ce bioréacteur est pourvu d'un organe permettant d'extraire les produits microbiens souhaités de ce bioréacteur sans pour autant que ce dernier ne soit ouvert.
