Eine Nachschlagetabelle, die die Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit und die Geschwindigkeitsänderung umfasst, wird dazu verwendet, das Verkehrsmuster zu bestimmen. Die Vorhersageperiode kann verkürzt werden, um Übergänge von Stadt- oder Autobahnverkehrsmustern zu erkennen.
