Stemming reduces inflected words to their stem or root form.
For example the words fishing, fished, fish, and fisher are reduced to the root word, fish,
so a search for fisher returns all the different variations
Returns only one member of a family of patents
Include Non-Patent literature in results

The method of the invention comprises the steps of proportioning a foam concentrate into a non-flammable liquid to form a foam concentrate/liquid mixture and creating a flowing stream of the foam concentrate/liquid mixture. Nitrogen is introduced to the stream of the foam/liquid mixture to initiate the formation of a nitrogen expanded foam fire suppressant. The flowing stream carrying the initially nitrogen expanded foam is dispensed, which completes the full expansion of the nitrogen expanded foam fire suppressant, into the confined area involved in fire thereby to smother the fire and to substantially close off contact between combustible material involved in fire and the ambient atmosphere substantially reducing the danger of explosion or flash fires. The apparatus of the invention is adapted for expanding and dispensing foam and comprises a housing defining an interior through which extends a discharge line defining an eductor for introduction of the expanded gas into the stream of foam concentrate/liquid flowing through the discharge line.

The present invention relates to a clarifier that comprises a body in the shape of a hollow cylinder having its lower end connected to a conical sludge compactor. The clarifier also includes units for feeding starting water and reactants as well as a unit for discharging the clarified water. The body includes a clarification chamber having a flocculation chamber arranged therein that further comprises a reaction chamber, said chambers being concentrically arranged. The clarification chamber is made in the shape of a truncated cone that widens towards the top. The flocculation chamber is made in the shape of a cylinder comprising a conical flare in its lower part as well as a plurality of baffles, wherein some baffles are arranged at the outlet of the flare while the others are regularly distributed on the inner surface of the chamber across the flow of purified water. In order to create a stable area of suspended sediments while maintaining a constant density, the clarification chamber and the sludge compactor are provided with ducts for separately discharging the purified water. This invention also relates to a water purification and clarification plant that comprises the following members connected in series: an aerator, two clarifiers comprising areas of suspended sediments and a sand filter. Each clarifier is fitted with ducts with units for supplying the reactants. The sediment discharge ducts from each clarifier are provided with pumps for feeding the sediments towards the filter (presses). The water discharge duct from the second clarifier towards the sand filter is also provided with a pump. The aerator consists of a water ejector comprising a supply pump, wherein the suction pipe of said pump is connected to the starting water duct into which gives a duct comprising a pump for withdrawing water from the suspended sediment area in the first clarifier.

The present invention relates to a method for processing mineralised water containing sulfates and chlorides and in which the ratio between the chloride and sulfate concentrations does not exceed 1:6. This method comprises different steps such as water preparation, concentration, crystallisation and centrifugation. The crystallisation is carried out at a total salt content of between 50 and 100 g/l, while the concentration is carried out according to a reverse osmosis method under a working pressure of between 1.5 and 4.0 Mpa. During the concentration process, the ratio between the sulfate and chloride concentrations increases at least 2.5 times. Due to the feedback into the processing cycle of the residual solutions obtained from the crystallisation and the centrifugation, it is possible to further increase the ratio between the sulfate and chloride concentrations before the concentration step. When mixing the residual solutions with the starting water, the ratio between said concentrations can be increased by at least 18 %. When mixing the residual solutions with the starting water and with the water after each water preparation step, this same ratio can be increased by at least 3 % in the starting water and by at least 17 % in the water to be concentrated. The preparation step of the present method may for example include the elimination of heavy metals and of calcium- and magnesium-containing solids.

The present invention relates to a liquid filtration apparatus that comprises a filter, a storage vessel in the form of a hydraulic accumulator, a plurality of ducts provided with valves for the starting, purified and non-purified liquids, as well as a pump mounted at the inlet of the duct for the starting liquid. This apparatus further includes an additional duct for the non-purified liquid, wherein said duct is provided with a control valve as well as with an electrovalve controlled by at least one timer. The additional duct is connected to the duct for the starting liquid through a control and bypass valve. The introduction of an additional duct, in the circuit of the liquid filtration apparatus, intended for the non-purified liquid and provided with an electrovalve, a control valve and a timer enables the automatic wash of the membrane device during the operation of said apparatus, thus increasing its capacity. A maximal output of purified liquid can be obtained from one unit of starting liquid, which substantially increases the operation efficiency of said apparatus.

Solid pharmaceutical compositions containing various ingredients for the production of Mouth dissolving Tablets (MDT) are described. Also described herewith the process using the said compositions which when processed as per the process described herein produce tablets containing active pharmaceutical ingredients preferably the Non Steroid Analgesics. The compositions are prepared by spraying the granulating solution on the dry-mix consisting of polyalcohol and the active ingredient in fluidized bed dryer containing such spraying facility. The tablets prepared using the compositions described using the process show remarkable fast disintegration in the mouth cavity without any action like chewing, even in absence of any carrier like water or hot/cold drinks. The tablets being rapid disintegrating can be easily administered to the aged, children and non-cooperating patients.

This invention relates to rapid on-site assembly portable buildings constructed of fibreglass panels and a method of forming filled hollow fibreglass panels. The method comprises: i) providing an outer shell for the panel formed of fibreglass resin in two parts the first part of which forms a first major wall of the panel and the second part of which forms the opposing major wall of the panel; ii) placing a plurality of blocks of filler foam within one part of the shell such that when the second part of the shell is mated to the first part, the blocks of filler foam substantially fill the cavity within the shell, the blocks of foam being overlaid with fibreglass matting that extends from one face of the block adjacent the first part of the shell, between opposing end edges of adjacent blocks of foam and then along the opposing face of the block of foam or the adjacent block of foam, the fibreglass matting being impregnated or coated with wet resin; and iii) allowing the fibreglass matting to dry to form a rigid support web from the first part of the shell to the second part of the shell between each block of filler foam within the internal cavity of the panel.
