Stemming reduces inflected words to their stem or root form.
For example the words fishing, fished, fish, and fisher are reduced to the root word, fish,
so a search for fisher returns all the different variations
Returns only one member of a family of patents
Include Non-Patent literature in results

Problems posed by liquid or gas fuels combustion pollution, require that at any instant a better primary air-fuel mixture is needed. A non adequated excess-air factor will be the source for an incomplete combustion with formation of pollutants. In order to solve these problems a fluid mixture control valve that can be used as part of a carburator has been invented. The mixture valve of the invention is a mixture control valve controlling mixture of a fluid α on a second fluid β, and consists of a set of two calibrated orifices (4) and (5), on a cylindrical tube (2), obturated by the rotative cylindrical pistons (1) and (3). The fluid α flow (liquid or gas) injected will be dependent on angular position of the two pistons (1) and (3), and so will be a function of the two independent control parameters. Also disclosed as an application is a carburator for internal combustion engines, using the mixture valve (6) on primary air flow duct (fluid β), controlling the fuel flow (fluid α). The mixture valve is actuated by two cams (7) and (8), controlled respectively by butterfly valve (11) and by air-flow sensor (7).

Appl.No PCT/US1995/003231 Applicant WM. WRIGLEY JR. COMPANY Inventor SONG, Joo, H.
A process for continuously producing a chewing gum base comprises the steps of continuously adding a hard elastomer, a filler and lubricating agents into a continuous (10), subjecting the elastomer, filler and lubricating agents to a dispersive mixing operation and followed by a distributive mixing operation and continuously discharging the resulting chewing gum base from the mixer while the adding and mixing steps are in progress. The lubricating agents are introduced into the continuous mixer at a plurality of spatially separated feed inlets (12, 13, 14 and 15). Preferably part of the lubricating agents are introduced into the mixer with the hard elastomer and the filler prior to the dispersive mixing zone, and a portion of the lubricating agents are introduced into the mixer downstream of the dispersive mixing zone but prior to the distributive mixing zone.

Appl.No PCT/US1994/014748 Applicant MOTOROLA INC. Inventor BLACK, Gregory, R.
Transmitting signals containing amplitude modulated (AM) and phase modulation (PM) components requires a transmitter having AM and PM control loops (515, 517). The PM control loop provides phase modulation, frequency translation and phase predistortion for a transmitter. The phase predistortion/correction is accomplished by using an oscillator (505), thus, the amount of PA phase correction is essentially unlimited. Additionally, the PM control loop (517) is nested about a power amplifier (507) (PA), allowing the PM control loop (517) to correct for any distortion introduced by the PA (507).

The present invention provides a circuit (10) and method for providing a delayed output signal which is less sensitive to supply variation compared to conventional circuits, has high noise immunity, can be operated at high frequency, and occupies a minimum area on the semiconductor. The delay is provided according to the present invention by separately controlling the discharge currents of a capacitor (26) before and after the trip point voltage of an output inverter (16) of the circuit (10) has been reached. The delay interval is determined primarily by the capacitor value, the voltage difference between the supply and the trip point of the output inverter, and the first discharge current, set by a resistor (24) in series with a transistor (34). The second discharge current is set by a switch (36) having a series of transistors (38, 40).

Appl.No PCT/US1994/012418 Applicant DIASENSE, INC. Inventor PURDY, David, L.
A method and apparatus (11) for non-invasive determination of the concentration of at least one analyte in a mammal. A portion of the body of the mammal is irradiated with incident radiation from source (202), where the incident radiation includes two or more distinct bands of continuous wavelength incident radiation. The resulting radiation emitted from the portion of the body is sensed and a value for the concentration of the analyte is derived therefrom.
