Stemming reduces inflected words to their stem or root form.
For example the words fishing, fished, fish, and fisher are reduced to the root word, fish,
so a search for fisher returns all the different variations
Returns only one member of a family of patents
Include Non-Patent literature in results

Appl.No PCT/CH1999/000308 Applicant K-TRON TECHNOLOGIES, INC. Inventor PIGNAT, Cédric
According to the invention a storage container (1) with a hopper (2) comprises a frame (3) which is mounted between the lower side of the hopper (2) and a discharge device (5). The discharge device (5) consists of a dosing device with a wormscrew (6) and a outlet (7) for the material. The invention also provides for a flexible double hopper (4) made of a very strong material of low elasticity which is firmly joined at the top to the hopper (2) and at the bottom to the discharge device (5). A motor (8) with a shaft (9) is immovably joined to the frame (3) and with the aid of an eccentric element (10) having a swivel bearing (11) converts the rotational movement of the shaft (9) into a horizontal movement of a transmission rod (12) mounted in the swivel bearing (11). Said rod passes through an opening (15) into the frame (3) where via a further swivel bearing (11) it is joined to a ring (13) which encloses the double hopper (4) and in this way causes the contents of the double hopper to carry out horizontal shear movements. This achieves a continuous material flow when bulk goods are evacuated from the storage container (1).

Appl.No PCT/US1998/017000 Applicant ABB LUMMUS GLOBAL INC. Inventor STANLEY, Stephen, J.
In an olefins plant for the production and recovery of ethylene and propylene, the hydrogenation of the C2 acetylenes, the C3 acetylenes and dienes and the C4 and heavier acetylenes, dienes and olefins and the selective separation of the resulting products is carried out by the use of various arrangements (68, 78, 100, 118) of one or more reaction distillation columns. These columns contain a hydrogenation catalyst (70, 82, 102, 103, 104, 105, 116) in enriching (81) and stripping (83) sections and concurrently perform a catalytic hydrogenation reaction and a distillation function.

04Influencing the temperature of the metal, e.g. by heating or cooling the mould
Appl.No PCT/EP1998/004350 Applicant ALD VACUUM TECHNOLOGIES GMBH Inventor HUGO, Franz
The invention relates to a casting device which inside a heating chamber (6) has a casting mould (5) which can be displaced from the heating chamber to a bath of cooled molten metal (10) situated below said heating chamber. As heat insulation between the heating chamber (6) and the bath of cooled molten metal (10) the invention provides for a heat insulating layer (13) floating on said bath of cooled molten metal (10) through which the casting mould (5) dips into the cooled molten metal (10). To prevent the formation of clumps within the heat insulating layer (13) the invention provides for a rake or stirrer (19) which is moved by a shaking device (17) and agitates or mixes the heat insulating layer.

Appl.No PCT/SE2000/002304 Applicant AUTOLIV DEVELOPMENT AB Inventor CARLSSON, Anders
A seat for a motor vehicle comprises a squab carried by a frame (31) and a back (54). The squab (31) is mounted for movement along a rail (21, 22, 23) from an operative position to a stored position remote from the operative position. The seat back (54) is pivotally mounted for movement from an operative position to a stored position. Part of the seat-back, when in the stored position, occupies space that was occupied by the squab of the seat when the squab of the seat was in the operative position. The seat may be mounted in a motor vehicle in such a way that part (55) of the back of the seat, when in the stored position, is substantially flush with part of the floor (53) of the motor vehicle to provide a load carrying platform.

A procedure for the production of stirred fermented milk products is based on the mixing of different finished products. Individual finished products are made in separate fermenters under optimal conditions for the microorganisms being the subjects of fermentation. The essence of the procedure is that it adapts the technological process to a maximum degree to the needs of the microorganisms involved without forcing them to cohabitate in the same fermenter under compromised conditions.

Range or distance to points is estimated within a scene, while simultaneously imaging the scene. The range to various points within the scene is estimated by imaging at least a first color of light from the scene through an optical mask (20) and a lens (25) onto a CCD (30) and then digitally processing the first color light intensity value stored in the CCD. At least a second color of light passes through the mask essentially unchanged and is separated from the first color of light before reaching the CCD and used for imaging (28) the scene. The optical mask is designed such that the optical system transformation matrix for the first color of light is rank deficient for a particular set of object ranges. In this way, linear functions can be found to annihilate given sampled image data at a plurality of ranges, independent of the intensity of the light received from the object. A statistical detector is used to determine the closest associated range to the actual range of the point within the scene.

A process is described in which superparamagnetic particles are first conjugated or adsorbed to a group of identical biomolecules, such as a group of antibodies, and the conjugates or adsorbates are then reacted with a group of biological binding partner molecules to form a tightly bound, three-dimensional mass of interlinked biomolecules and bound superparamagnetic particles. The mass is exposed to a magnetic field for the shortest period need to induce magnetization of the superparamagnetic particles and the field is then inmediately removed. The superparamagnetic particles in the mass exhibit in concert a measurable nonpermanent aggregative magnetization for a period of at least twenty minutes which can be used to quantitate the amount of biological binding partner present by comparison with preestablished standards or to confirm the presence of a biological binding partner in a test sample.
