The invention relates to the mining industry, more specifically to diamond mining. Said invention makes it possible to distribute an original stock in the form of continuous monolayer of particles and increase the efficiency of the extraction of a desired product. The inventive fluorescent separator for ore processing comprises a device for loading the original stock, a sloping flume which has a convex curvelinear shape in the form of a parabola described by the formula y=kx2, wherein k ranges from 0.15 to 0.3, and is used for delivering the stock to an area for detecting the desired product. Said separator also comprises a means for detecting the desired product in the flow of the original stock and a device for separating the desired product which is connected to the detecting means, a device for collecting the desired and tailing products and an automatic control device for the separator. The device for separating the desired product for the separator is provided with an electromechanical drive connected to a splitter of the desired product. In the first variant, the splitter is embodied in the form of a flume which is supported by one arm of a lever, an electromagnet core being arranged under the second arm thereof. In the second variant, the splitter of the desired product is embodied in the form of three sliding shutters which are fixed in the shape of a fan to the axis of a stepper electric motor.
