Stemming reduces inflected words to their stem or root form.
For example the words fishing, fished, fish, and fisher are reduced to the root word, fish,
so a search for fisher returns all the different variations
Returns only one member of a family of patents
Include Non-Patent literature in results

Appl.No PCT/RU1996/000195 Applicant RODIONOVA, Olga Mikhailovna Inventor RODIONOVA, Olga Mikhailovna
The invention pertains to medicine, specifically to methods of improving the health of a human patient. The method in essence involves linear and rotary massage in the projection zones of the body's organs and other parts in a defined sequence, namely: spine, heart, upper extremities, head, anterior neck surface, mammary glands, anterior surface of the lungs, solar plexus, oesophagus, stomach, pancreas, duodenum, spleen, liver and gall bladder, intestines, rectum, anus, on the anterior projection of the kidney, ureter, sexual organs, hip joints, lumbosacral region, gluteal muscles, lower extremities. To act on the heart, other areas are massaged, namely: jugular vein, left clavicular vein, the region of the left shoulder joint, left shoulder blade region and the region of 6-8 ribs of the left mid-clavicular line. This is completed by simultaneous rotary massage in opposite directions of the anterior and posterior projections of the heart, each massage movement being finished by clenching the hand into a fist, withdrawing it, and opening it out 10-12 cm from the body surface, the same procedure being repeated above the body surface, and finished by massage of the reflex zones of the foot.

Appl.No PCT/US1992/008679 Applicant MOTOROLA, INC. Inventor MEIDAN, Reuven
A method and apparatus is provided for reducing interference in a radio communication link from a central site (230) to a mobile unit (228) in a cellular communication system. The central site (230) includes a first (202) and a second (216) antenna which serve the geographic region (214) in which the mobile unit (228) is located. The radio communication link may be provided by communicating a signal in a first radio communication channel between the first central site antenna (202) and the mobile unit (228). Similarly, the radio communication link may be provided by communicating a signal in a second radio communication channel between the second central site antenna (216) and the mobile unit (228). A measure of interference in the frist radio communication channel providing the radio communication link is determined. The radio communication link is switched, in response to the measure of interference being above a predetermined threshold, from the first to the second radio communication channel.

The invention concerns a credit collecting method applicable to disposable prepayment cards containing conductive ring-shaped cells having the value of one credit each and divided into sectors (31...36), each one consisting of a column having the width of one cell and placed parallel to the longitudinal axis of the card. The sectors are accessed according to a preset order stored in the read/write head (20) where the cells of each sector are accessed starting from the edge inside the read/write head and following a direction (37) towards the edge which remains outside the read/write head, independently of the inserted card position.

The invention deals with the creation of a visual guiding effect for guiding walls which are difficult to see, specially at dusk and in the dark. The guiding device consists of a support (22) to be mounted on the guiding wall and provided with a supporting arm (27) which is flexible at least in the horizontal direction. A guiding body (21) secured to the supporting arm by a coupling device (23) is provided on at least one side with a guiding surface (24) which can be easily seen even in poor visibility conditions.

Supplementary coding on inductive debit cards and reading process refers to supplementary information regarding variables such as date of issue and country in which the card is valid, which are included without any change in the number of credits on the card by using the front and back handling strips (17, 18). Such an encoding comprises the division of said strips, in a number of segments or tracks (41, 42, ... 49) equal to the number of cell columns on the card, coinciding the center of said tracks with the axes (31, 32, ... 39) of said columns; the metallized tracks correspond to bit '1' and the non-metallized tracks to bit '0', the four tracks located at the corners of the card (41, 49, 41', 49') being always metallized. The reading of the information on the card is carried out during the insertion of the card (30) into the reading head by the row of sensors (64) the farthest away from the entrance slot (69). On detecting the presence of a pair of metallized tracks on the corner of the card, the bits contained in either strip are read and stored in a temporary register for a later interpretation.

The present invention concerns the improvement of a static reading head, having the capability of processing, indifferently, data cards of the inductive type and chip-cards provided with contact pads on their surface. The raising and lowering of connection pins (49) which contact said pads is achieved by linking the pin supporting plate (48) to rocking C-shaped driving arms (41, 41'), having bifurcated free upper ends (42) slidingly coupled to pivots (43, 43') which are attached to said plate. The lower limbs of said arms extend parallel to the lower face (47) of the upper part (30) of the reading head, said limbs having bosses (54) facing said lower face, the gap (46) between said bosses and said face being roughly equal to the thickness of an inductive card. The greater thickness of a chip-card presses down said bosses bringing about a clockwise rotation of said C-shaped arms around a fixed shaft (44), resulting in a lowering of the connection pins which touch the contact pads on the card surface.

A pile weatherstrip has an elongate base strip (10) carrying a pile of thermoplastic fibres (11). A zone (15) is formed adjacent the base of fibres fused together and compressed to reduce their width. This provides a comparatively smooth and narrow zone that does not snag on the flanges of a carrier as the pile weatherstrip is inserted into the carrier. The zone (15) can be produced by passing the weatherstrip through a nip formed by heated rollers (18). In an alternative embodiment, the fibres are fused together for their whole height. This has the additional advantage of providing an air-impervious barrier.

A method and apparatus for controlling an agricultural harvester (200) having a cut crop receiving header (202) coupled to a hydraulic (206). The header (202) applies a force against the ground that is adjusted by applying pressure to the cylinder (206). Proportional raise and lower valves (118, 120) control the pressure in the cylinder. A pressure signal representing cylinder pressure is received. The difference between the measured pressure and the setpoint is used to compute input signals, which are transmitted to the valves (118, 120). Cylinder pressure is maintained substantially at a setpoint, the setpoint being adjustable in response to varying terrain (220). The setpoint is set to a first value in falling terrain and a second value in rising terrain. At the top of a hill, the setpoint is reduced below the first value until ground contact is regained, and the pressure is recharged above the second value.
