Stemming reduces inflected words to their stem or root form.
For example the words fishing, fished, fish, and fisher are reduced to the root word, fish,
so a search for fisher returns all the different variations
Returns only one member of a family of patents
Include Non-Patent literature in results

An anastomosis device for interconnecting the ends of two tubular organs has, in a preferred embodiment, two circular members (10A and 10B), each member having an outer region (16A) engageable against the contact surface of the outer region (16B) of the other member. When so engaged, both members (16A and 16B) are concentrically disposed about a common axis. Both members also have an inner region (15) disposed concentrically within the outer region and including a concentric opening (17) for receiving the end of a tubular organ (A, B). Both members also have a series of pins (13) mounted in the inner region, disposed around the periphery of the opening and nearly parallel to the common axis (X, Y), so that the exposed ends of the pins approximately define a plane, for holding the ends of the tubular organ inserted into concentric opening.

Appl.No PCT/US1990/000161 Applicant MOTOROLA, INC. Inventor HEROLD, Barry, Wayne
A high speed CMOS divide by 4/5 prescaler circuit comprises first, second, third, fourth, and fifth inverter stages (outputs at 10, 12, 14, 16, 18). When a modulas control signal (MC) is low, the prescaler operates as five clocked inverters in series having an output which is fed back to the input of the initial stage. That is, the circuit operates as a five stage clocked ring oscillator wherein only one output changes on each clock edge. When a modulas control signal (MC) is high indicating that a divide by four is desired, the counter operates as a five stage ring oscillator for seven clock edges. On the eighth edge, feed forward circuitry (60, 62, 64, 68, 70) forces the last three stages to change states simultaneously.

Appl.No PCT/US1990/003917 Applicant RESOUND CORPORATION Inventor CARLSON, Jason, Lee
The present invention comprises an apparatus and method for inserting into, orienting within, and withdrawing from an ear a hearing aid (100), earphone, transducer, microprocessor, radio, sensor, or other mechanical or electronic device. The apparatus includes a housing attached to and containing the device. The housing (102) has slots (105) in which a handle (106), which is secured inside the housing (102), can slide. A magnet (110) placed proximate the handle (106) causes the handle (106) to slide out, away from the housing (102), making it easy to grasp. The device can thus be inserted in, oriented within, or withdrawn from the ear (101) by use of the handle (106). In its rest position, the handle (106) lies flush against the housing (102) making it almost visually imperceptible.

Appl.No PCT/CH1990/000007 Applicant FRECH, Wolfgang Inventor FRECH, Wolfgang
In order to extend the range of applications of a microwave oven and to enhance the quality and digestibility of the food heated, in particular cooked and baked, therein, a current of hot, dry air is guided by deflecting elements (23, 24, 25, 26; 27) in the oven or cooking chamber (4a) so as to circulate around the food being cooked on a grill (33). A crust rapidly forms on the surface of the food being cooked, because a vapour screen which would absorb the infrared rays from the heating elements (28) cannot form around the food being cooked. The food therefore becomes crisp on the outside while remaining juicy on the inside. This is difficult if not impossible to achieve with conventional microwave ovens, or demands a preparation time which is too long for microwave ovens. In addition, by means of suitable constructional measures, it is possible to prevent liquid dropping from the food (31) being cooked onto the infrared heating source located below the food.
