Stemming reduces inflected words to their stem or root form.
For example the words fishing, fished, fish, and fisher are reduced to the root word, fish,
so a search for fisher returns all the different variations
Returns only one member of a family of patents
Include Non-Patent literature in results

An engine starting system that includes a power source (320), an electromagnetic coil (330) and core (335), and a choke valve (340) disposed in an air intake of an air/fuel-mixing device of an internal combustion engine. At the time of starting the engine, the power source outputs an electrical signal to an electromagnetic coil and core, inducing a magnetic field from the electromagnetic coil and the core. The magnetic field from the core moves the choke valve toward a substantially closed position that enriches an intake mixture of fuel and air to the engine during starting. In one embodiment, the power source includes a moving magnet (325) that interacts with a stator coil to provide the electrical signal to the electromagnetic coil. In another embodiment, the closing of a starter switch allows a battery to provide the electrical power to the electromagnetic coil.

Appl.No PCT/EP2002/010657 Applicant SCHMID BAUKUNSTSTOFFE GMBH Inventor SCHMID, Oliver
A sealing strip used to seal connecting joints between a window frame and an embrasure of a building, comprising a carrier material which is coated on at least one surface with an adhesive material for plaster mortar or gypsum mortar. The sealing strip is adhesively affixed to the embrasure. In order to enable the sealing strip to elastically absorb movements between the window frame and the embrasure and to create a sealing strip which is easy to produce and which can be produced at low cost, an elastically deformable membrane (1) made of plastic film is used as a carrier material. A non-woven layer (2,3) is provided as an adhesive material. Said layer is elastically extensible in a transversal direction of said sealing strip (10) in order to absorb movements between the window frame and the embrasure. The non-woven layer (2,3) is non-extendible or only slightly extensible in the longitudinal direction of the sealing strip such that the sealing strip is sufficiently resistant with regard to expansion when used.

A laser beam transmission to moving, further transmitting elements, preferably in tools, in order to support ductile removal, with simultaneous real distance measurement in relation to a workpiece surface which is to be machined and one which is non-machined. A rotating resonator mirror with screen-type partially reflecting passages, which is preferably the reflecting front face of a tool shank, is used to direct the exiting laser beam from the laser body through the partially reflecting passages into at least one further transmitting element for further transmission via the shank of the tool or the holder of the tool shank and the body of the tool to the workpiece in order to produce ductility in the cutting area. By transmitting the laser beam via the too, extra control of the laser can be dispensed with in the case of multiaxis machines and the energy input of the laser is optimized and minimized. The power elements elements further transmitting the laser power -enable the real surface to be measured outside the range of action with a laser measuring beam.

A method for driving an electromagnetic proportional control valve (44E) for the flow control of a common rail system pump which enables flow rate adjustment by adjusting the duty ratio of a pulse voltage to be impressed on a solenoid coil (F) of an electromagnetic solenoid (44E). When the electromagnetic proportional control valve (44) is in an operating condition that hysteresis may occur in action, the peak value or pulse width of a pulse voltage is increased temporarily to enhance the drive power of the electromagnetic solenoid (44E) momemtarily. This process ensures a smooth operation of a piston (44C) to stabilize flow control.
