Stemming reduces inflected words to their stem or root form.
For example the words fishing, fished, fish, and fisher are reduced to the root word, fish,
so a search for fisher returns all the different variations
Returns only one member of a family of patents
Include Non-Patent literature in results

A stowable semi rigid airfoil assembly, functions automatically to airflow as a draft adjusting wing sail, or spinnaker sail (19), for use on a mast (17) with a halyard (41) on a wind powered craft. The halyard connected to the heads (83) of port and starboard sail panels (10) surrounding the mast vertically, elongates the airfoil from a wing chord section shaped boom (21) attached to the airfoils' foot (57). The sailcloth (12) panels are laminated with rigid foam cored (11) horizontal panel sections (13) set between flexible sailcloth spaces (14), for folding the rigid panels down over the wing shaped boom. The top of the panel sections above the boom are outward folding (22) spaces, and every other one of the spaces up the sail are outward folding, and every other one of the other spaces are inward folding (16) and are increased in separation (20) between the rigid panels. The leading edges (27) of the sail panels are joined at the inward folding spaces. The sail panels have shape control lines (34) along the inward folds for a wing chord section profile. Downhaul lines (31) reef and stow the sail panels. The leading edge of the boom pivots the trailing two sides of the boom from the mast. The flexible booms' pivotable leading edge is connected to a telescoping (48) fore boom (45) that is distally connected to the mast. Pivotable connections of the spinnaker (49) and draft control arms (50) between the foreboom and the inboard sides of the boom (55) adjust the draft of the wing sail.

The invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering and materials. More specifically, the invention relates to a self-adjusting system of crossing rails having multiple characteristics which extend the useful life of the crossing system by at least a factor of four, while offering a safety support by providing redundancy to the line system. In this way, human passengers can move from place to place easily and safely with a minimum of noise and vibrations. In addition, the proprietor of the system can benefit from lower maintenance costs and less exposure to financial risk. Moreover, the system can be installed at a multitude of diverse natural sites without altering or damaging the environment. Moreover, the same components can be used to produce other configuration options which increase the possibility of creating a system having characteristics enabling same to cover a multitude of inclinations. According to the invention, the various components are combined in order to obtain (i) maximum conservation of energy, said configuration combining a smooth rail (Fig. 1) and the self-balancing system (Fig. 3), or (ii) maximum braking, said configuration combining the skeleton rail (Fig. 2) and the high-braking safety system (Fig. 4).

A tire assembly for a vehicle has an integrally formed generally ring-shaped outer tire member (10) and an integrally formed generally ring-shaped inner tire member (20) that fits within the outer tire member. The outer tire member is made of relatively hard and relatively rigid material and the inner tire member is made of a material that is essentially incompressible but rather easily deformable. The inner tire member has protuberances and recesses formed in at least one of its circumferential surfaces to provide space for both radial compression and lateral expansion of its material to ensure resilient support of the outer tire member.

A position and predicted track of a storm cell may be determined based on weather information from a first weather information source, eg., NEXRAD, and displayed on a weather display. Preferably, the displayed storm cell position and track is updated between the receipt of NEXRAD updates based on weather information received from a second weather information source, e.g., live radar data. Thus, integration of detailed NEXRAD weather data information with live radar data to provide an enhanced ability to predict accurately the movement of severe weather cells and to provide an accurate warning to those in the path of such cells is provided.

Appl.No PCT/CR2002/000004 Applicant TALLERES INDUSTRIALES HIVA S.A. Inventor HIDALGO VARGAS, Edgar
The invention relates to a hermetic system of transferring a material from one container to another. One particular application of the invention involves the transfer of granular agrochemicals on banana plantations. The invention is characterised in that it comprises a system for transferring a granular material from a first container, via a nozzle, a flexible conduit, a control valve and a cover, to a second container, or vice versa. According to the invention, the base of the aforementioned nozzle is connected to the first container, the flexible conduit is connected to the nozzle and the control valve is connected to the other end of said conduit. Moreover, the cover is connected to the second container and the control valve is connected to the cover, thereby forming a connection between the two containers. Once both containers have been connected, the material can be transferred without causing spillages and without coming into contact with the operators. The above-mentioned first container is spherical in shape and is designed such that identical containers can be stacked one on top of the other. In this way, the containers can be stored and transported efficiently. In addition, the first container is ergonomically designed so as to facilitate the handling thereof. The inventive system is hermetic and impermeable so as to prevent accidents resulting from spills or spread of a toxic material.
