Stemming reduces inflected words to their stem or root form.
For example the words fishing, fished, fish, and fisher are reduced to the root word, fish,
so a search for fisher returns all the different variations
Returns only one member of a family of patents
Include Non-Patent literature in results

Appl.No PCT/US1998/002397 Applicant HONEYBEE ROBOTICS, INC. Inventor KONG, Kin, Yuen
A multi-channel band-gear system for a rotary joint has a ring gear assembly with a conducting ring band in electrical contact with corresponding conducting bands of a set of intermediary planetary gears, which in turn are in electrical contact with a conducting sun band of a sun gear assembly. The ring band is formed with a plurality of conducting segments (10a, 10b, 10c, 10d) which are electrically insulated from each other and positioned angularly in a circumferential direction of the ring gear, such that separate electrical power/signal channels are formed across the rotary joint. In a preferred embodiment having continuously connected channels, the ring band has four conducting segments at 90° intervals, the sun band has two conducting segments (14a, 14b) at 180° interval, and three planetary bands (12a, 12b, 12c) are in rolling electrical contact at 120° intervals between the ring band segments and the sun band segments, forming two continuously connected channels in a single layer of the band-gear system. Multiple sets of ring gear, planetary gear, and sun gear assemblies may be used in a stacked configuration in a single axial layer to further increase the number of channels provided through the band-gear system.

Appl.No PCT/US1995/003127 Applicant WM. WRIGLEY JR. COMPANY Inventor SONG, Joo, H.
A process for continuously producing a chewing gum base comprises the steps of continuously adding a hard elastomer, a filler and lubricating agents comprising a softening agent into a continuous mixer (10), subjecting the elastomer, filler and lubricating agents to a dispersive mixing operation followed by a distributive mixing operation and continuously discharging the resulting chewing gum base from the mixer while the adding and mixing steps are in progress. The softening agent is introduced into the continuous mixer (10) at a plurality of spatially separated feed inlets (12, 13, 15). The softening agent is selected from the group consisting of fats, oils, waxes, emulsifiers and mixtures thereof.

A removable manifold assembly (32) for attachment to the outlet end of a multi-cartridge injection device. The manifold assembly comprises two rigid plastic housings (36, 38) which encapsulate a rubber septum (40). Check valves (92) are formed by compressing the front surface of the septum against a seal face of the rear housing (38) to form a fluid tight interface therebetween. A first fluid path (96, 106) is formed from each cartridge in the injector through the manifold assembly to a patient delivery needle (34). A second fluid path (98, 106) is formed in the manifold assembly from the first fluid path to a back surface of the septum in order to enable a residual fluid force to be exerted against the back surface of the septum, thereby forcing the respective check valve in its closed position. The manifold assembly includes a unique geometry that permits the manifold (32) to be snapped into engament with the housing only when properly oriented with the housing. In one embodiment, the manifold assembly is designed to slip over the proximal ends of the cartridge retainers (120, 122) prior to snapping into engagement with the injector housing. In this embodiment, the manifold and cartridge containers are configured so that the manifold is able to slip over the cartridge retainers only when the cartridge retainers have been rotated into their locked positions within the injector housing (110).

Appl.No PCT/EP2001/013494 Applicant BAUER + KUNZI GESELLSCHAFT FÜR DRUCKTECHNIK MBH Inventor BEGER, Hans
The invention relates to a guiding device for metal sheet printing machines (10) and metal sheet painting machines, which have at least two printing cylinders (11; 12) and a transfer drum (17) situated therebetween. The guiding device is arranged on said transfer drum (17) and, to be precise, is located close to the imaginary cylindrical outer surface (21) of the transfer drum (17). The guiding device comprises at least one guiding element (31) with an outwardly turned bearing surface (32) for supporting the rear edge (33) of the metal sheets (30). The guiding element (31) is pivotally mounted by means of a swivel bearing (35) whose pivotal axis is parallel to the axis (18) of the transfer drum (17). The guiding element (31) is coupled to a pivot drive by means of which its bearing surface (32) can be adjusted to different pivoting angles (ß) with regard to the tangent (36) to the imaginary cylindrical outer surface (21) of the transfer drum (17). This pivoting angle (ß) is larger at the rotating position of the transfer drum (17) at which the rear edge (33) of the metal sheets (30) rest against the guiding element (31), and is smaller at the rotating position at which the rear edge (33) of the metal sheets (30) leave the guiding element (31).

No available specific tests for HIV. Investigators detect the presence of the virus is known through the detection of antibodies in the blood, it is an indirect method of detection. So if the physician expected that a certain person has the disease he request a certain test to be done to prove or exclude the presence of the virus. In the same time there is a test to prove that the patient in who has been given treatment for example become OK since by the same test which proved that he is positive the patient will continue to give positive test, since the antibodies will remain in his blood for years. The antibodies in the majority of diseases usually give immunity but not in case of HIV, it is an indication that the person in question is harboring the virus. Uptill now no curative treatment of HIV. Several drugs has been introduced for this purpose, but their effect is not sure. May be they elongate the life free of symptoms but their side-effects are greater than blood transfusion. Antiviron and others are used but all fail to treat the HIV patient. May be it elongate his life. In case of my medication I did not notice any side effects on those who took it. Contrary to the drugs used, in case of my drug the patient gains appetite, the haemoglobin rises, his weight increases, and they resume their normal work activities depending on themselves for their work without external support. In the attached report one can notice the improvement in the cases included as dated advance.
