The subject of the invention is the arm-rest of a seat in a vehicle containing a compartment for small articles. The object of the invention is the lock of a compartment for small items situated in the armrest of the car seat. The lock consists of the latch component (2), situated in the cover (1), on which there is the blocking surface (5), which mates with the blocking mass (6). The blocking mass (6) is a disk that is placed on the axis in the eccentric way. In case of placing the armrest in the passive position, the disk makes a turn under its own weight and contacting the blocking surface (5) of the latch component (2), it prevents the controlling lever (8) connected with the push-button (7) from moving the latch component (2) and opening the cover (1).

The object of the invention solves the problem of improving the functional values of vehicle seat armrests, especially those used in cars. The armrest according to the invention includes a compartment (2) for storing small objects that is closed with a cover, and which has a grip (3) in its front part. The grip (3) has the form of a spatial element with a convave upper surface provided with two sets of parallel slots: a set of slots for coins (4) and a set of slots for flat objects (5), such as a telephone card, a parking card or a credit card, that is situated perpendicularly to the set of slots for coins (4). On closing the cover of the compartment (2), the objects stored in the grip and the other ones in the compartment (2) are immobilised by pressing with a flexible element (6) connected with the cover.

A method of controlling a compressor (1) is described, particularly a method that prevents the piston (5) from knocking against the valve system (8, 9) provided therein. This objective is achieved by means of a method of controlling a compressor (1), particularly a linear compressor, which comprises a piston (5), and a linear motor (2), the piston (5) moving along a stroke and being driven by the motor (2), an average voltage (Vm) being applied to the motor (2) and controlling the movement of the piston (5), the method comprising the steps of measuring a first time of movement of the piston (5), comparing the first time with a foreseen time of movement, altering the voltage (Vm) if the first movement time is different from the foreseen movement time, the foreseen movement time being such that the movement of the piston (5) will reach a maximum point (M), the point (M) being substantially close to the end of the piston stroke. A system for monitoring the position of a piston (5) of a linear compressor (1), as well as a compressor (1) are also foreseen.

The invention solves the problem of constructing such a head-rest of a seat in a vehicle, especially in a car, which can be moved manually or by means of remote control from the passive to active position and vice versa. According to the invention the head-rest is made up of the movable back squab (2) which is rotationally connected with the back of the seat, with the rotation plane of the back squab (2) being approximately corresponding to the plane of the back of the seat. The pin (3) is permanently connected with the back squab (2) and it rotates inside the sleeve (4) which is connected with the back of the seat. The pin (3) is connected with the blocking pad (5) furnished with the blocking's seat (6) with which the elastically supported locking pin (7) is mated. From the locking position the locking pin (7) is moved by means of either the lever (9) or electromagnet (11). In the second version the back squab (2) is moved by means of the worm gear.
