The object of the invention is the lock of a compartment for small items situated in the armrest of the car seat. The invention solves the problem of constructing such a head-rest of a seat in a vehicle, especially in a car, which can be moved manually or by means of remote control from the passive to active position and vice versa. According to the invention the head-rest is made up of the movable back squab (2) which is rotationally connected with the back of the seat, with the rotation plane of the back squab (2) being approximately corresponding to the plane of the back of the seat.
