For example the words fishing, fished, fish, and fisher are reduced to the root word, fish,
so a search for fisher returns all the different variations
Returns only one member of a family of patents

The present invention pertains to the field of geophysical well equipment and of equipment for applying physical actions on the fields. This invention can be used in geological prospecting, in the mining, petroleum- and gas-extraction industry as well as in other industrial branches for intensifying the extraction of mining resources. The piezoelectric converter includes a piezoelectric packet that comprises longitudinally polarised piezo-ceramic rings which are connected in parallel and associated with end parts having a thickness of λ\40, wherein λ is the wavelength of the material used for said parts. The piezoelectric converter also includes a reinforcement rod member as well as a retaining ring member that provides the longitudinal compression forces of the piezoelectric converter, i.e. the reinforcement force thereof. The retaining member comprises a flute for dampening oscillations and for eliminating the need for any reinforcement tube in the oscillating system. The piezoelectric packets are connected by a flexible insert or resilient member. The rod member and the retaining member are connected so that the reinforcement force can be adjusted. The resilient member and the end parts are made of a material exhibiting wave resistance as well as a thermal expansion coefficient for the ceramic of the rings, e.g. titanium or steel. This piezoelectric converter has an increased reliability and an extended life time.

The invention relates to cartridges for a portable barrelless weapon for self-defence. Said weapon can be used by civil persons for self-defence by shooting with traumatic elements. The inventive cartridge comprises a cartridge case, a powder charge, an ignition element embodied in the form of an electrical ignition fuse and a gas generator pressed into the cartridge case, in addition to a traumatic element embodied in the form of a rubber bullet provided with a metallic core which prevents the extraction of the bullet. The bullet is rolled inside the body of the gas generator. The electrical ignition fuse and the gas generator can be embodied in the form of a single part or be embodied separately. The cartridge case can be made of a high resistant aluminium alloy or reinforced plastic material. The inventive traumatic element for a barrelless weapon is made of a flexible metal and embodied in the form of a bullet provided with a metallic core which prevents the extraction of the bullet. The bullet consists of two parts, i.e. the head part and the tail part connected to each other with the aid of a strap. The tail part of the bullet has an external diameter which is less than the diameter of the head part. The bullet can be made of rubber. The invention excludes the possibility of bad wounding by the cartridge and the bullet at a distance equal to or greater than 1 meter and ensures a stopping effect at a distance equal to or less than 10 meters.

A method and device for rinsing and/or cleaning delivery piping (2), in particular an essentially vertical crude-oil production pipeline, with the delivery pipe (2) being located in a casing (1) that surrounds the delivery pipe (2), forming an annulus, and with the fluid to be delivered being discharged, in particular pumped, via the delivery pipe (2). For rinsing and/or cleaning, the delivery of the fluid to be delivered in the delivery pipe (2) is interrupted, a rinsing fluid is introduced, in particular injected under pressure, into the casing (1) that surrounds the delivery pipe (2), forming an annulus, and the rinsing liquid is introduced into the interior of the delivery pipe (2) via one or more sealable openings in the jacket of the delivery pipe (2) that open into its interior, and preferably discharged through the delivery pipe (2).

Appl.No PCT/EP1996/000557 Applicant PASCHAL-WERK G. MAIER GMBH Inventor JARUZEL, Kurt
The invention concerns formwork or a formwork element for a haunch formwork system which is composed of a flat or smooth formwork panel (7) and a haunch formwork element (9) which can generally be secured to the lower edge of the former. The skin (4), which is either already attached to the formwork panel (7) or can be attached to it once it has been curved, is complemented by a skin (4) on tthe haunch forwork element (9) and is fitted to it once the angle between the formwork panel (7) and haunch formwork element (9) has been set. The stiffening supports (10) and haunch supports (11) are joined together at the haunch angle. In order to allow the haunch angle and dimensions to be altered, the haunch supports (11) and stiffening supports (10) are secured to the stiffening supports (10) via an articulation (12) about an axis (13) which is approximately parallel to the skin (4) so as to be capable of articulation, and/or the length of the haunch supports (11) is adjustable. In addition, the connection between the haunch supports (11) and the stiffening supports (10) can be adjusted by providing different engagement depths or insert lengths.

The invention relates to the production of a synthesis gas. The inventive method for producing synthesis gas consists in a partial oxidation of hydrocarbon raw material by an oxidising agent in a compression type internal combustion engine with an excess oxidant ratio less than 0.8. In order to activate the process, partial oxidation initiators in a quantity less than 10 % of the hydrocarbon raw material are supplied to the piston-swept volume of the internal combustion engine. The compression ratio for the compression type internal combustion engine is chosen and/or adjusted from 13 to 30. The working surfaces of the compression type internal combustion engine are made of material and /or coated with materials, which activate the partial oxidation process.
