Stemming reduces inflected words to their stem or root form.
For example the words fishing, fished, fish, and fisher are reduced to the root word, fish,
so a search for fisher returns all the different variations
Returns only one member of a family of patents
Include Non-Patent literature in results

A custom-made appliance designed for total distalization of the upper dental arch. It consists of a Vitallium bar with two posterior holes for mini-screws' insertion localized at the para-median area, and two extended lever arms with two posterior hooks. The palatal plate should be applied with a stainless steel anterior trans-palatal arch, which is inserted in the palatal tubes of the maxillary first molars' bands and provided with two anterior soldered hooks. Distalization of the upper arch can be accomplished by applying an elastic chain or closed coil spring from the anterior hooks of the trans-palatal arch to the posterior hooks of the palatal plate.

In order to reduce rubbing of an electrical contact surface in a developing cartridge having the electrical contact surface, this developing cartridge 1 has: a case 10 housing a developing agent therein; a developing roller 30; a storage medium 61 having an electrical contact surface; and a holder 62 holding the electrical contact surface. The holder 62 holds the electrical contact surface on an outer surface in a third direction intersecting the electrical contact surface. The holder 62 is movable in a second direction, relative to the case 10. As a result, the position of the case 10 in the second direction can be changed without changing the position of the electrical contact surface in the second direction. Accordingly, the contact state of the electrical contact surface can be maintained and the position of the case 10 changed, during a separation operation after the developing cartridge 1 has been attached. Rubbing of the electrical contact surface can be reduced as a result.

Disclosed herein is a process for preparing a carbohydrate extract comprising mannoheptulose from avocados, as well as compositions, including food compositions, comprising such extracts. The process includes separating the aqueous emulsion into different fractions by centrifugation, and isolating the water-soluble fraction (water extract) comprising avocado carbohydrates, including mannoheptulose. In various aspects, the process optionally includes steps of heating, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, concentrating, and or drying the extract. Also described herein are methods for using the carbohydrate extract comprising mannoheptulose and compositions comprising the carbohydrate extract comprising mannoheptulose.

[Problem] To appropriately manage service life of a cartridge in a cartridge used in an imaging device, and an imaging device. [Solution] This developer cartridge 1 comprises a detection gear 52 having a first protrusion 521, and a cartridge IC 62. The imaging device has a sensor that detects movement of the first protrusion 521. The imaging device writes new product determination information to the cartridge IC 62 if the detection signal from the sensor has a new product waveform. As a consequence, it is possible to determine on the basis of information inside the cartridge IC 62 whether the new production detection of that developer cartridge 1 has already been completed in the imaging device. Therefore, it is possible to verify special situations, such as when new product determination information can be obtained from the first protrusion 521, regardless of whether new product determination information has already been stored in the cartridge IC 62. As a consequence, it is possible to appropriately manage the service life of the developer cartridge 1.

Provided is a structure whereby rubbing of an electrical contact surface can be suppressed when attaching a developing cartridge. The developing cartridge 1 has: a case 10 housing a developing agent therein; a storage medium 61 having an electrical contact surface 611; a holder 62 holding the electrical contact surface 611; and an elastic member 73. The elastic member 73 is capable of expanding and contracting in a first direction, between a first state and a second state in which the elastic member 73 is contracted further than in the first state. An outer surface of the holder 62 , holding the electrical contact surface 611 , is arranged at a first position when the elastic member 73 is in the first state and at a second position when the elastic member 73 is in the second state. In this way, the position of the outer surface of the holder 62 holding the electrical contact surface 611 is changed in the first direction. As a result, rubbing of the electrical contact surface 611 can be suppressed when attaching the developing cartridge 1.

[Problem] To appropriately manage service life of cartridges in cartridges used in imaging devices, and in imaging devices. [Solution] This developer cartridge 1 comprises a detection gear 52, a first protrusion 521, the position of which moves in accordance with the rotation of the detection gear 52, and a cartridge IC 62. First yield information is stored on the cartridge IC 62. The imaging device has a sensor that detects movement of the first protrusion 521. The imaging device verifies the quantity of developer within the developer cartridge 1 or the number of sheets that can be printed with the remaining developer, on the basis of first yield information read from the cartridge IC 62 and second yield information obtained on the basis of the detection signal from the sensor. As a consequence, it is possible to appropriately manage the service life of the cartridge, even in special situations such as incorrect use or incorrect detection.

This developing cartridge 1 has a case 10 capable of housing a developing agent and extending in a first direction. In addition, this developing cartridge 1 has: a cap ring 41 on one side of the case 10 in the first direction; a detection gear 52 positioned on the other side of the case 10 in the first direction; and a storage medium 61 having an electrical contact surface 611 positioned on one side of the case 10 in the first direction. The detection gear 52 is rotatable around a rotation shaft 85 extending in the first direction. The cap ring 41 is rotatable around a rotation shaft 83 extending in the first direction. An end surface of the case 10, in the first direction, can be made smaller as a result of arranging the detection gear 52 on opposite side of the case 10, in the first direction, to the cap ring 41 and the electrical contact surface 611.
