Stemming reduces inflected words to their stem or root form.
For example the words fishing, fished, fish, and fisher are reduced to the root word, fish,
so a search for fisher returns all the different variations
Returns only one member of a family of patents
Include Non-Patent literature in results

Appl.No PCT/FR1986/000209 Applicant GIRAUD, Claude Inventor GIRAUD, Claude
The shutter for the security of building closures comprises an outer wooden boarding (1), an intermediate steel-plated metal sheet (2), an inner wooden frame (3), the assembly being fixed by blind screws (4). The closure is comprised of a flush-mounted espagnolette (5) housed in sealed heads. The protection of the flaps is provided by a mortise joint of the metal parts (7). The security of the edges is provided by means of a corner piece (8) which is fixed by dowelling in the masonry boards and receiving a U-shaped profiled section (9) welded and embedded into the wooden frame (3). The hinges (10) are counter-welded and welded to the intermediate steel-plated metal sheets (2). This method of fabrication of shutters combines both the advantages of aesthetic and heat insulation qualities of wooden shutters with the security of a metal shutter thus designed as well as of the various security devices linked thereto.

Appl.No PCT/AU1990/000217 Applicant WIMMERA INDUSTRIAL MINERALS PTY. LTD. Inventor HOLLITT, Michael, John
The specification discloses a method of making acid digestible titania. The method comprises the steps of: (1) adding a magnesium or manganese compound to a titaniferous mineral if the content of manganese and magnesium in the mineral is insufficient; (2) heating the mineral in the presence of a reductant for a sufficient length of time and at a sufficiently high temperature to permit the reduction of iron containing compounds to metallic iron and enable titania present to convert to an acid digestible form; (3) cooling the mineral; and (4) separating iron from the mineral by means of an aqueous aeration step. The titaniferous mineral contains insufficient magnesium and manganese if the following expression is not satisfied: (1.98a + 1.14b)/d » 0.08, where a represents the percentage by weight of MgO contained in the mineral, b represents the percentage by weight of MnO contained in the mineral; and d represents the percentage by weight of TiO2 contained in the mineral. The magnesium or manganese compound is either an oxide or a compound that is capable of converting to an oxide under reaction conditions. An aqueous aeration technique described in the specification involves the use of a sequesterant that is capable of sequestering iron from the mineral without significantly lowering the local pH while at the same time permitting the formation of an oxide of iron at a point away from the mineral. An example of such a sequesterant is citric acid.

The method is characterized in that it comprises the marking on rod (7) and ground (8, 9) records elementary records corresponding to a same elevation (Z1 or Z4) of the drilling tool (5), the grouping in pairs of said elementary records, and the intercorrelation of said records of the pairs so as to produce, for each pair, a correlated signal representative of the acoustical energy created and of the travel time difference of the waves received by sensors (7, 8, 9) from which the pair of recordings has been obtained. Applications particularly to the determination of the seismic profile of wells.
