Stemming reduces inflected words to their stem or root form.
For example the words fishing, fished, fish, and fisher are reduced to the root word, fish,
so a search for fisher returns all the different variations
Returns only one member of a family of patents

The present invention relates to stabilization of teriparatide for oral administration by forming of water-soluble complexes with soluble polysaccharides, e.g. β-glucan, chitosan, alginic acid, or their salts. Orally administered peptide medicaments such as teriparatide exhibit very low biological availability, which is mainly caused by rapid degradation in the digestive tract by proteolytic enzymes, as well as low efficiency of transport through the intestinal wall to the blood circulation. It is an advantage of the pharmaceutical composition according to the invention that teriparatide in the complex form is protected from being digested by proteases, the complex not preventing absorption of teriparatide from the gastrointestinal tract to the blood at the same time.

A method for cleaning the exhaust air from a furnace 2 used in conjunction with a chemical coating process for coating items as part of a cathodic electrophoretic deposition plant comprises, in a first step, of the hot exhaust air being cooled in a heat exchanger 4 to a temperature suitable for the downstream cleaning step and of the exhaust air subsequently being cleaned in the course of at least one biological process by the degradation of organic compounds, e.g. of solvents and/or the cracking products thereof, by means of microorganisms. The cooled exhaust air to be cleaned is enriched with an aqueous washing fluid in this step. The exhaust air flow is enriched with water in at least one packing-filled washing column 6, 6.1 and the washing fluid taken from a reservoir 7 is delivered via a spray system. The washing fluid supplied drains out of the bottom of the washing column under gravity and runs into the reservoir. The exhaust air is sent through the column 6, 6.1 in a counterflow to the route of the washing liquid. The step of washing organic compounds out of the exhaust air flow is followed by a filter process in which the exhaust air is passed through one or more biofilters 5, 11 connected in parallel or nested inside one another carrying microorganisms which degrade solvents or the cracking products thereof. Further described is a plant 1 for cleaning the exhaust air of a furnace 2 used in conjunction with a chemical coating process for coating items, wherein a heat exchanger 4 is provided downstream of the furnace 2 in the direction of flow of the exhaust air, through which heat exchanger the hot furnace exhaust air is cooled down to a temperature suitable for the downstream cleaning process and wherein at least one biological cleaning stage 5, 11 is connected downstream of the heat exchanger 4.

Appl.No PCT/FI2008/050337 Applicant OUTOTEC OYJ Inventor MÄKINEN, Tuula
The invention relates to a method for recovering cobalt and copper from a cobalt-containing copper concentrate in a pyrometallurgical treatment process. Blister copper is formed in a suspension smelter and/or converter, and is conveyed to an anode furnace, and the slag that is formed is fed together with a reductant into a slag cleaning furnace. Blister copper is obtained from the slag cleaning furnace, and this is also routed to the anode furnace to produce anode copper. The slag from the slag cleaning furnace is routed to a cobalt recovery furnace, to which sulphide-containing material is also conveyed, in addition to a reductant. Cobalt is recovered from the cobalt recovery furnace matte and the slag that is formed is waste slag.
