The present invention provides a method for recovering a derivative of an organic solvent from a first process stream comprising the organic solvent, water, and the derivative of the organic solvent in a process for the production of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid comprising the catalytic oxidation of a hydrocarbon precursor in the organic solvent in an oxidation reactor, comprising the steps of: i) feeding the first process stream to a stripping device comprising a stripping column and sump; ii) removing a purified organic solvent stream from the sump; and iii) transferring an overhead stream from the stripping column to a condenser, wherein the mass concentration of the derivative of the organic solvent in the purified organic solvent stream removed from the sump in step ii) is lower than the mass concentration of the derivative of the organic solvent in the first process stream fed to the stripping device in step i), and, optionally, wherein the mass concentration of the derivative of the organic solvent in the overhead stream transferred to the condenser in step iii)is greater than the mass concentration of the derivative of the organic solvent in the first process stream fed to the stripping device in step i). The present invention further provides apparatus for carrying out the method, and a process for the production of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid incorporating the method.

The invention discloses a downhole plugging device for an oil well. Inside an oil column (2) is a sealing projection seat (7) having a sealing surface and a limiting projection (8). Installed in the oil column (2) and above the sealing projection seat (7) is a rod pump (9). A sealing surface of a sealing projection (6) provided at the rod pump (9) fits with the sealing surface of the sealing projection seat (7) in the oil column (2). An exterior inlet hole (3) is provided on the oil column pipe wall below the limiting projection (8), and a matching inner pipe (1) is provided at the same section of the oil column. On the pipe wall of the inner pipe (1) is an interior inlet hole (4) corresponding to the exterior inlet hole (3) in the oil column (2). A sealing groove is provided at the inner pipe (1) wall at the bottom of the inner pipe (1) interior inlet hole (4). A sealing ring (5) is installed inside the sealing groove and fits with the inner wall of the oil column (2). The upper part of the inner pipe (1) connects to the rod pump (9) via a coupling-uncoupling device (10). The pipe opening at the bottom of the oil column (2) is sealed. The structure of the invention is simple and rational and the function of the invention is reliable such that the invention can implement well maintenance for sucker rods and oil pipes and conveniently seal downhole pressure for multiple times achieving safe, efficient, environmentally-friendly, and energy-saving production.

The invention relates to medicine, and more particularly to midwifery and gynaecology, and enables early prediction of the development of placental insufficiency in late pregnancy. The essence of the invention is that in the 5th-12th week of gestation, the mother's serum concentration of DcR3 is determined. If the reading is above 0.87 pg/ml, this indicates a likelihood of the development of placental insufficiency in late pregnancy. The technical result is an increase in the arsenal of predictive tools, a simplified procedure, and an increase in the accuracy, sensitivity and specificity with which the development of placental insufficiency is predicted, making it possible to choose the right strategy for managing a pregnancy, to implement a series of preventive and curative measures and to reduce the risk of complications and adverse pregnancy outcomes.

The present invention provides a method for raising steam in a process for the production of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid comprising the catalytic oxidation of a hydrocarbon precursor in an organic solvent, comprising the steps of: i) heating a crude aromatic dicarboxylic acid slurry to form a crude aromatic dicarboxylic acid solution; ii) transferring the crude aromatic dicarboxylic acid solution to a hydrogenation reactor; iii) transferring a purified aromatic dicarboxylic acid solution from the hydrogenation reactor to a series of one or more crystallisers; and iv) transferring heat from a crystalliser vent stream from the series of one or more crystallisers to a water stream in a steam raiser to generate steam. The support structure can better overcome insufficient bearing capacity of a soft foundation, and provide a stable foundation for the upper portion of the structure.
