The invention refers to gyratory-piston machines comprising a house (10), a locking element (30), and a rotary piston (20). The purpose of the present invention is to provide a drive force transmission mechanism wherein an end member can be easily contained in a containing section. A drive force transmission mechanism is provided with: a drive section having a shaft 21; a drum 3 rotated by the rotation of the shaft 21; and a wire 41 having an end member 41b provided at an end thereof. The drum 3 has: a shaft hole 31 into which the shaft 21 can fit; and an end member containing section 32 having a containing space capable of containing the end member 41b. The end member containing section 32 has: a first opening open to one surface of the drum 3 in the direction of the axis X and having an opening area smaller than the projected area of the end member 41b; and a second opening which is formed in a shaft-side wall section 34, is in communication with the first opening, and forms, in cooperation with the first opening, an opening which enables the end member 41b to be contained in the containing space.
