The invention relates to a method wherein a mixture is carried out between a calcium sulfate soil improver and compounds rich in soluble P2O5, or in a reaction medium between phosphate, acidulated derivatives, and the above-mentioned soil improver. Sufficient proportioning of the basic and/or reactive compounds in a suitable manner makes it possible to obtain a simple superphosphate wherein: the P2O5 concentration is easily regulated and adjusted to the desired value, pulping of the resultant solid solution enables homogenization and perfect granulation of said solid solution, and the free acid is kept at the minimal near-zero value, thereby giving the final fertilizer the added value of enabling said fertilizer to become the product of choice for ad hoc blending of complex fertilizers. The invention provides the advantages of : (i) obtaining a material in the form of very spherical, homogeneous granules with optimal hardness, (ii) upgrading unwanted, off-spec phosphorous compounds available in phosphoric acid and fertilizer plants, and (iii) producing said product while respecting environmental requirements (very limited gaseous effluents and nearly nonexistent dust).

The present invention relates to a process for producing granulated Triple Superphosphate (TSP) (up to 47% P2O5 total concentration) from natural phosphate and phosphoric acid. This invention takes into account the various parameters that are involved in the kinetics of the attack reaction between the phosphate and the phosphoric acid to give a monocalcium solution. This monocalcium solution is used to generate, in an original facility, granules of triple superphosphate containing phosphorus in a water-soluble and citrate-soluble form, that can be assimilated by plants. Moreover, the present invention aims to remedy the limitations of process No. 1.100.817 imposed by the technical specificities of the earlier facilities, and consequently provides a process that is more flexible from the point of view of production capacity and from the point of view of quality of the fertilizer produced. The present invention provides a process for producing phosphate fertilizer granules based on the latest technological advances, relating to: the optimized solubilization of the phosphate in a phosphoric acid solution; the granulation of the resulting monocalcium slurry; the drying of the granulated product in a more improved device; the particle-size separation of the granulated product; the recycling of the final product and of the coarse material (after milling) in a new piece of granulation equipment; the treatment of the gases leaving the dryer making it possible to meet the environmental standards with respect to polluting elements by multistage washing; the storage and stirring of the granulated TSP in two separate suitable areas; the packaging of the final product.

The aim of the proposed product is to save up to 50% of irrigation water by using a microporous solid made from clay enriched with calcium and magnesium or with any other element that is not environmentally polluting and is non-toxic to living organisms. The microporous solid acts as a water storage reservoir. This method allows: 1 - The use of ordinary clay, to which there are added fusible additions (sawdust or coal dust), calcium hydroxide and magnesium. It is then formed into small 5 mm balls and baked in a furnace at a temperature close to 810 °C. 2- By mixing into soil to a depth of 20 to 25 cm before planting, a well aerated soil is obtained equipped with the water reservoirs. 3- This technique for saving agricultural irrigation water uses totally natural products that have no detrimental effects on plants or humans. 4- This product is very practical for large agricultural plantations (grains, for example) or palm-tree plantations in desert areas. 5- The product is very effective in desert areas. It makes it possible to save more than 50% of irrigation waters. 6- The proposed product is very easy for farmers to use, requires no maintenance and has no negative effect on the environment, plants or humans.
