Automatic coupling for coupling the lances used in steelmaking to a coupling head of a lance-holder, the requisite substances and liquid coolants being supplied to the lance through the coupling head. The engine is characterized by an axial grouping of the three cylinders (2, 7, 13) gathered in a triangular configuration where is situated a distribution chamber (26) with three fluid transfer branches between the three cylinders (2, 7, 13). The first piston (1) depending via a piston-rod from the first crankshaft (4) moves in the first cylinder (2) used for the intake, compression, expansion and exhaust phases, the second piston (6) moves inside the second cylinder (7) delimiting the combustion chamber (8) where are provided two ignition spark plugs (9, 10) and a fuel injector (11), the third piston (12) moves in the third cylinder (13) (not shown) delimiting the air reserve chamber (14) (not shown). The second and third pistons (6, 12) depend each from a piston-rod and from a throw. The throws are offset between each other by 180° on the second crankshaft (17). The first crankshaft (4) is connected to the second crankshaft (17) via the coupler (not shown). The gas pedal (not shown) acts on the coupler in order to vary the timing angle between the two crankshafts (4, 7).

The engine is characterized by an axial group of two cylinders (2, 7) communicating by means of a channel (22) situated in the cylinder head (20). Both cylinders (2, 7) joined side to side allow for a centralization of both crankshafts (4, 13) in the cylinder case (5). Each cylinder comprises a corresponding piston (1, 6) displaceable in the first cylinder (2) intended for the intake, compression, expansion and exhaust phases, said first piston (1) depending, via a piston rod (3), from the first crankshaft (4) situated in the cylinder case (5). The second piston (6) displaceable within the second cylinder (7) delimiting the combustion prechamber (8) wherein are housed a heating plug and a fuel injector, said second piston (6) depending, via a piston rod (12), from the second crankshaft (13) also located in cylinder case (5). The first crankshaft (4) is connected by means of a transmission to the second crankshaft (13) via the coupler (not shown), the latter varying the timing between the two above-mentioned crankshafts as a fonction of the overboost pressure. The gas pedal (not shown) acts via known means on the amount of fuel to be injected into the combustion prechamber (8).

Transmission device for the telecontrol of hoisting winches for lifts or nacelles for the transportation of loads or persons, by means of electric signals transmitted by the carrier cable. Said device is characterized in that the emitter unit (4) comprises a coder (8) connected to a keyboard (9) and emitting alternating signals having a first or a second frequency in the range from 300 to 3000 Hz, according to the value of the binary digit to be transmitted, and the receiver unit (6) comprises an amplifier stage (14) connected to the receiver coupling coil (7) and which supplies on one hand a decoder (21) acting on control relays and on the other hand a telephone receiver (19).

A two-way flow regulating valve with a hydraulic compensator (120) axially movable inside a cylindrical casing is intended to regulate the flow between an inlet opening and one or a plurality of discharge openings (10) radially arranged in the casing wall. A regulation valve (18) controls the position of the compensator, a flow rate sensor (20) detects the through flow rate and a displacement detector (32) detects the position of the flow sensor and controls the regulation valve (18) in relation to the position of the flow sensor. A compact construction is obtained by configuring the flow sensor (20) as a piston which is axially movable and coaxially arranged within the compensator (12).
