Stemming reduces inflected words to their stem or root form.
For example the words fishing, fished, fish, and fisher are reduced to the root word, fish,
so a search for fisher returns all the different variations
Returns only one member of a family of patents

The disclosed device is comprised of a main body (CP), wherein one of its ends has a closure cover (TC) and the other rear-end is configured as an extension (1) for coupling with the counter-disk plate fork. The main body (CP) has a conduit (5) which, through a regulating device (TR), makes the two chambers (c1, c2) communicate, and determines the position (2) occupied by the piston, and contains: a liquid fluid; a regulating rod (VR) whose extremity projecting outside is connected to the cable linked to the clutch pedal, while the other end is connected to the plunger comprised of a closure valve (VC); and a regulation spring (RR) which permanently subjects to a traction force the aforesaid cable via the rod (DR). The portion of the rod (VR) contained in the main body (CP) compensates longitudinally the wear of the lining of the clutch disk. Application to the car industry.

The mechanism is comprised of a swivelling arm (1) hinged at one end to a wheel (2) and hinged at the other end to the frame of the vehicle, and is comprised of a power gear (20) and of a driven gear (21) in the axis of the driving wheel, both gears being associated by a chain. The mechanism is characterized in that the swivelling arm (1) is arranged parallel to the 'antisquat' direction defined by the distance between the axes (8, 10) of the wheels (2, 4) and the gravity center of the vehicle. The runs (28, 29) of the chain (22) are parallel to the swivelling arm (1). The effects of the driving wheel (2) and of the chain (22) on the swivelling arm (1), which tend to open and close said swivelling arm, are reduced.

The invention relates to a gravity infusion system which has a main bottle (11) and a reserve bottle (10) whose outlets meet in the application tube. An intercalary tube (13) connects one to the other directly by means of two hollow punches (131, 133) which pierce the rubber plugs. When the level in the main bottle goes down and approaches the empty level, the punch (131) of the intercalary connection is left exposed and the air in the bottle (11) passes through said connection to the reserve bottle (10) which, upon receiving such air, begins to supply liquid, thereby replacing the empty bottle. Such repeated process finds particular application in prolonged treatments. The object of the invention is to avoid troubles resulting from a delay in the replacement of the bottle and, consequently, to avoid having medical staff and other persons accompanying the patient dependent on the moment of the bottle replacement.

The object of the method is the detection of the african swine pest virus by an immuno enzymatic assay wherein the major protein of the virus (p72) is used as antigen, said protein being obtained by expression of the gene which encodes it. The gene was identified by hybridization with oligonucleotide probes derived from structural information of the purified protein. Once its sequence of nucleotides was determined, the gene was inserted in the expression vector pAR3038, to obtain the recombinant plasmid pS72a. Said plasmid was used to transform the strain of E.coli BL21(DE3) which, after induction with IPTG, allowed the high yield production of the recombinant protein p72. The protein was purified by high resolution liquid chromatography and was directly used in antigen-antibody assays with animal serum samples in order to diagnose the disease.

Method for obtaining fertilizing salts and derivatives of strontium, by wet process, starting from mineral material such as strontium sulphate which is reacted with ammonium carbonate in excess. This reaction is carried out continuously and with counter-current flows of reagents. This excess of ammonium carbonate used is recovered in order to recycle it in the process and to isolate the ammonium sulphate which may be treated continuously with a lime carbonate or oxide, recovering the gases evolved by the reaction and obtaining as final product lime sulphate (gypsum). In a second phase, strontium carbonate obtained is continuously reacted with nitric acid in order to obtain strontium nitrate, part of which is carbonated with gases (CO2 and NH3) producing a precipitate of strontium carbonate and a solution of ammonium nitrate.

Plate for cell cultures with a system for laterally diffusing molecules through a barrier membrane consisting of two or more compartments (wells) separated by means of one or various barrier membranes situated in the contiguous side wall or walls, providing for the passage of soluble substances through the membranes, and retaining the insoluble particles and the cells. The cells deposited in one of the compartments may interchange their metabolic products with one or various contiguous compartments containing a culture medium or other cells. The problem caused by other devices wherein the diffusion of substances occurs between a higher compartment (which usually contains the cells) and a lower compartment, separated by a barrier membrane, making difficult the microscopic observation of the cells and the manipulation thereof, is thus solved. The fields of application include various branches of biology, such as immunology, pharmacology, toxicology, microbiology and paracytology.
