The invention relates to a continuous vacuum deep-fat frier in the form of a duct, characterised in that said duct extends horizontally along a path above the inlet and outlet points, such that the pressure in the higher part of the duct is below the atmospheric pressure as a result of difference in oil level. In order to prevent the oil from overflowing, both ends of the duct are in the form of an inverted siphon and the upper part of the duct comprises a vacuum pump for extracting the vapours produced during the frying. An auxiliary line connects the inlet and outlet siphons by means of the lower part thereof in order to maintain the level of the oil. The invention relates to the field of biotechnology and to processes that employ membrane technologies. In particular, the invention relates to a method for obtaining an extract rich in tannins of ellagic acid from blackberries (Rubus spp.) and from other fruits that contain these compounds, as well as to the extract obtained using said method. The method is essentially based on baromembrane technologies that allow mechanical separation and effective fractionation between the polyphenol compounds, by means of interactions between the physico-chemical properties thereof, the material of the membrane and the molar mass of same, thereby allowing enrichment of a fraction of the natural extract with ellagic acid tannins and modification of the content thereof in terms of anthocyanins and other compounds such as sugars and acids.

The invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering and materials. More specifically, the invention relates to a self-adjusting system of crossing rails having multiple characteristics which extend the useful life of the crossing system by at least a factor of four, while offering a safety support by providing redundancy to the line system. In this way, human passengers can move from place to place easily and safely with a minimum of noise and vibrations. In addition, the proprietor of the system can benefit from lower maintenance costs and less exposure to financial risk. Moreover, the system can be installed at a multitude of diverse natural sites without altering or damaging the environment. Moreover, the same components can be used to produce other configuration options which increase the possibility of creating a system having characteristics enabling same to cover a multitude of inclinations. According to the invention, the various components are combined in order to obtain (i) maximum conservation of energy, said configuration combining a smooth rail (Fig. 1) and the self-balancing system (Fig. 3), or (ii) maximum braking, said configuration combining the skeleton rail (Fig. 2) and the high-braking safety system (Fig. 4).

The invention relates to a prefabricated biological purification system, whereby said system is a complete facility for the purification of domestic wastewaters and forms part of the technological field of civil engineering, more particularly, the field of black water treatment systems. Said purification system is a very versatile system due to the fact that it can be used in different types of constructions such as individual homes, condominiums, buildings, towns, etc. including a unitary facility or multiple facilities depending on requirements. Said prefabricated biological purification system comprises two basic units consisting of two containers whose size varies depending on the type and equipped with all modular elements, bottom, walls and lids, in addition to all complementary internal elements. The shape of all components makes them easy to handle, transport and assemble and no special machinery or skilled labor are required. The system operates as follows: in the first unit, which is a prefabricated biological purifier, patent C.R. 2540 and patent application EPO 98108512.9, that includes internal and external variations for optimized operation, the first and most important purification phase is effected, wherein the black waters are treated in three successive phases involving aerobic and anaerobic fermentation and decanting, it is possible to internally recirculate the sludges and the effluent of the purifier enters the second unit where it is evenly distributed by means of a liquid distributor. Purification is completed in said unit by oxidation of contaminating matters as a result of a bacterial film that covers the filling material. A successive aerobic and partly anaerobic fermentation phase is carried out in said unit. The effluent of the system can be emptied into a receptacle involving no further treatment. In view of the fact that the prefabricated biological purification system does not produce any sludges, no regular maintenance or cleaning is required. It involves no operating costs due to the fact that no machinery is need for internal operation. It has no environmental impact in view of the fact that the entire facility is built underground.

The invention aims at providing a multi-reinforced hydrocarbon for melting and casting processes. Said multi-reinforced hydrocarbon has better characteristics than other non-reinforced hydrocarbons or hydrocarbons reinforced with one or two additives. The inventive hydrocarbons can be used, for instance, for welding or torch cutting metal, especially ferrous metal. Other aims accomplished with the present invention are, inter alia, the following: providing a very high temperature of the flame with an intense heating power; ensuring safety during manufacturing; providing better characteristics for cutting ferrous metal; providing better characteristics for welding ferrous metal; making it easy to store and transport; providing a stable gas; making it economical to produce; rendering it economical for cutting ferrous metals; rendering it economical for welding ferrous metals; allowing to cut up to 50 % faster than with currently available products; combining efficiently with impure oxygen, which is defined as oxygen containing a higher percentage of nitrogen; cutting more rapidly and consuming less oxygen with the corresponding savings; performing more precise cutting, wherein metal losses drop by more than 50 %; performing cleaner cutting and eliminating the hard slag of the metal remaining after oxy-acetylene cutting; the scarce slag remaining is soft and can be easily eliminated, leaving the metal in its original state.

Coffee harvesting machine used to collect the fruits in two ways: a powered collecting system which strikes the coffee fruits in order to detach them from the plants and a collecting cylinder which is not propulsed and which can slide along the branch in order to detach the coffee. Both systems gather the coffee fruits by converging them by gravity and finally the coffee is transported by suction towards a container. The coffee harvesting machine is comprised of a central system which can be arranged within a wagon and to which are connected various coffee collecting systems; the harvested coffee fruits are directly transported to a big box of a vehicle. The invention relates to an easy-to-install, mechanically-operated automatic/manual device for controlling an outlet for water or any fluid. The inventive device comprises a threaded inlet nozzle which can be used for water or any fluid and which can be pivoted in order to direct said device as appropriate. The device also contains two reverse polarity magnets, a spring, two oilcloth membranes with openings, one oilcloth membrane with no openings, two supports for said membranes, an air chamber, a metal ring that can be actuated at will, an operating mechanism having on-off positions, a copper double tube which is submerged in the container to be filled, an oilcloth tube that connects the copper double tube to the air chamber, an operating mechanism having manual and automatic positions that is used to operate said device. The invention also relates to the operation of the device, the purpose of which is to close off the water or fluid passage when the receptacle, cistern, basin, tub, trough, bath, toilet, swimming pool or other container is full using hydrostatic pressure which is exerted by the container of water by means of the copper double tube which is connected to the air chamber by the oilcloth tube. Said air chamber exerts the pressure necessary to separate the magnets and, therefore, to close the fluid passage opening.
