The invention relates to a system for domestic decontamination and improved combustion performance in wick stoves, with a paraffin or kerosene fuel tank. The system is characterised in that it comprises a casing (1) having a hollow, flat-faced prismatic body (8), the upper and lower walls of the casing being provided with smaller peripheral openings (9) for dissipating heat and two lower front windows, one (10) for the fuel load and the other (11) for verifying the fuel measurement. The central area of the casing (1) also comprises a double air chamber (12) for air produced by a forced-air turbine (13), the air being distributed along the entire central perimeter and subsequently rising, thereby ventilating a hood (2), extracting the heat and cooling the casing (1). The air chamber (12) is formed by another short laminar body (14) having the same configuration as the casing (1) in which is produced the forced air flow for lowering the temperature of the stove and, at the same time, producing a better distribution of heat toward the outside by means of a forced-air turbine (13), the front lower zone also comprising a door (15) for performing maintenance and replacement operations. The system further includes a heat-dissipating hood (2), an anti-radiation disc (3), a protective cover or lid (7) for preventing sparks from the burner from reaching the fuel tank (20), a bimetal protective part (6), and a thermal switch (31) for controlling the forced-air turbine (13).
