A device for electric arc evaporation of metals comprises a cathode (3) consisting of a plate extended within a plane along two coordinates. In a particular case the plate of the cathode (3) consists of a comb (15). Main current leads (5, 6) are connected to the opposite sections (7, 8) of the comb (15), whereas additional current leads (33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38) are connected to the free ends (39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44) of the teeth (16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21) of the comb (15). All the current leads (5, 6, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38) are connected through individually controlled switches (9, 10, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50), to a current source (2) and to a control unit (11) electrically connected to a means (12) for control of the position of the cathode spot (13) on the evaporation surface (4) of the comb (15) of the cathode (3). The means (12) is located in the immediate proximity to the evaporation surface (4) of the comb (15) of the cathode (3) and consists, in a particular case, of two extended electroconductive elements (54, 55). The element (55) is mounted along the base (30) of the comb (15) of one coordinate, whereas the element (54) is mounted along the free ends (39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 31) of the teeth (16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22) of the comb (15) of the cathode (3) of the other coordinate.

An electric arc evaporator of metals comprises a cathode (2) extended along its longitudinal axis, made of the material to be evaporated and having the evaporation surface (3) oriented along its longitudinal axis, and current leads (7, 8) located on the opposite end faces (5, 6) of the cathode (2) and connected to controlled switches (10, 11) electrically connected through individual switching elements (12, 13) to a control unit (14) and connected to a constant-current source (15) connected, in its turn, to the anode, and electrically connected to the control unit (14) transducer (17) of the current location of the cathode spot (16) on the evaporation surface (3) of the cathode (2). In a particular case the cathode (2) itself serves as the transducer (17), and its current leads (7, 8) serve as current leads of the transducer (17).

A method for finishing treatment of a moving textile material includes impregnation of the material with a technological solution containing a precondensate of a thermosetting resin and a catalyst, drying and thermotreatment during which the treatment with infrared radiation is alternated cyclically with the simultaneous effect of the hot air and the static magnetic field. The direction of the magnetic induction vector is oppositely alternated with a pole change frequency of 0.3-3 Hz. The drying of the material is carried out until the residual humidity of 5-6 % is obtained, whereas the stretching of the dried material in the warp direction is maintained within the interval of 7-12 N/m. This allows improvement of the quality of finishing of the material due to the decrease of formaldehyde emission and to the increase of the lustre stability.

A method for determining the nucleotide sequence of DNA includes forming of a pattern of oligonucleotides, its hybridization with the marked DNA to be tested, washing out under the conditions of dissociation of duplexes, identification of single substitutions of bases in the tested DNA by analysing the distribution of the mark and, depending on the results of the analysis, reconstruction of the nucleotide sequence of the tested DNA. The pattern of oligonucleotides is formed with their concentrations providing for the desired temperature of dissociation of duplexes in the course of washing. A device for determining the nucleotide sequence of DNA comprises a substrate (1) and a matrix (2) secured to the latter by means of a gel layer of a thickness not exceeding 30 mkm and containing a pattern of oligonucleotides of desired length.
