This invention relates to a marine propulsion apparatus. To improve propeller efficiency by utilizing the flow in the backward direction of a propeller shaft and the flow turning in the rotating direction of the propeller, the present invention provides a marine propulsion apparatus which has propeller vanes (2) and turbine vanes (3) fitted to the propeller shaft (1). The propeller vanes (2) are fitted on the front side and the turbine vanes (3), on the rear side, and an axial length (l) obtained by dividing the distance between the center lines of both vanes (2) and (3) by the diameter of the propeller is at least 6 % and the number of turbine vanes (3) is integral multiples of the number of propeller vanes (2). Furthermore, the diameter of the turbine vanes (3) is 33 to 60 % of the diameter of the propeller vanes (2) and the pitch angle (Υp) of the propeller vanes (2) and the pitch angle (ΥT) of the turbine vanes (3) satisfy the relation ΥT « Υp + 20° at the position satisfying the relation 0.3 « r/R « 0.6.

A positioning correction for robots, capable of preventing a decrease in the positioning accuracy, which is ascribed to an error specific to a robot. Simultaneous equations including link length errors (Δ11, Δ12) and actual angles of rotation (Υ1, Υ2), of first and second links as unknown quantities are solved by using displayed angles of rotation of the first and second links (1, 2), which are obtained by sequentially carrying out the mastering concerning a plurality of known points, to determine the link length errors, errors (Δx0, Δy0) of positions of centers of pivotal movements of arms, errors (ΔΥ10, ΔΥ20) of angles of rotation of the links. When a robot is operated, the program-designated target positions of transfer of the front ends of the arms on the X- and Y-axes are corrected by using the errors of positions of centers of pivotal movements of the arms, and the actual link lengths are determined by using the link length errors. The angles of rotation of a servomotor relating to the first and second links is determined by a coordinate transformation processing based on the corrected positions of transfer of the front ends of the arms, actual link lengths and errors of angles of rotation of the links.

A jet apparatus for jetting two kinds of fluids includes a first header which extends in a linear direction and to which a first fluid is supplied, a second header which extends along the first header at its back and is fixed thereto, a nozzle introduction member which guides the first fluid in the first header and the second fluid in the second header in the direction opposite to the second header relative to the first header and a nozzle which mixes the two fluids from the nozzle introduction member and injects the mixed fluid. Such a two-fluid jet apparatus is simple in structure and has high productivity. When a hot-dipped steel sheet with minimum spangle is produced by jetting water which is atomized by compressed air to the surface of a steel sheet strip passing through a plating tank and travelling from below to above by use of such a two-fluid jet apparatus, a main spangle removing means and an auxiliary spangle removing means are prepared at upper and lower portions and these two spangle removing means are operated alternately and selectively so that the operation can be continued even when one of them is out of order.

This invention relates to an injection press machine and its molding method which effect a compression stroke after injection when the compression stroke of a movable mold is effected with respect to a fixed mold. More particularly, a compression start position is determined by mechanical positioning means, this position is adjustable and the position of the movable mold is detected during the compression stroke so that the stroke displacement for compression can be adjusted and a horizontal alignment between both molds can be always kept. Accordingly, parallelism of the molds can be held stably even the pressure by injection is applied to them and horizontal alignment of the molds can be kept during the compression stroke. Since the behaviour of a molten resin inside a cavity at the time of injection becomes always constant, resin molded articles having stable quality can be obtained.
