Stemming reduces inflected words to their stem or root form.
For example the words fishing, fished, fish, and fisher are reduced to the root word, fish,
so a search for fisher returns all the different variations
Returns only one member of a family of patents

Mesh materials for the controlled release of antimicrobial and antiviral compounds, with high antiviral activity and efficacy, predominantly against coronavirus, and a method for producing mesh materials with inclusion compounds of bisbiguanide:cyclodextrin, using mesh materials selected from polymers, fibers, nonwoven fabric, fabrics, paper and cellulose, individually or in combination, or a combination of one or more of these mesh materials with adhesives. The mesh materials impregnated, extruded, saturated, coated or laminated with inclusion compounds have been shown to be effective in the deactivation/destruction of viral particles. In fabrics, the inclusion compounds exhibited virucidal activity for all of the viruses in the coronavirus group for contact times of above 2 minutes, with the effect thereof lasting for more than 30 days. The mesh materials for controlled release of antivirals have displayed activity which is up to 1000 times more effective than the use of unencapsulated chlorhexidine.

1 ©2020 Argo Computing Services Pty Ltd COVID-19 Warrior - Patent Abstract Argo Computing Services Pty Ltd Abstract As COVID-19 pandemic crises deepen, communities around the world suffer extraordinary damages. Humans lives are lost, and the damage is inflicted to health our population and world economies. It is likely that when the pandemic ends, it will take us decades to recover to the pre-pandemic levels of employment and economic growth. For the pandemic to end an effective cure has to be developed, tested, manufactured and adopted by the communities around the world. While this work is still in progress, we need to focus on effective testing and protection processes and technologies to minimise the spread and allow economies to function sustainably. This invention proposes a fully integrated centralised and individualised system for protecting humans from respiratory illnesses, caused by viruses, including testing, GPS, and temperature measuring components. When implemented, this system will allow reducing negative impacts caused by pandemic, whether primary or secondary. 2 © 2020 Argo Computing Services Pty Ltd

During national crisis as virus pandemics, bio-terrorism, chemical pollution, a response is to lock down all the economy, with several % GDP loss, or to convince population to wear, reasonably, appropriate individual anti-virus and bacterial protection accessories, made of a full head and shoulders protection mask, equipped with air ventilation and processing unit, and gloves, and body protection foil, for single or multiple use, and get minimal economic losses. The air processing unit may be developed a modular structure, starting from a simple filtered fan, with air suction on top of the head, flowing air over the face, for low probability of contamination environments, upgraded to a more complex unit including heat pipe, catalytic organic matter reduction, oxygen generator and closed circuit breathing unit, that may be integrated into a full body personal protection equipment by extending the functions of temperature, humidity and pressure control to full body, for hazardous environments.

A seal assembly 12 comprises a hollow tube 2 containing one or more valves or seals 3, 5 that permit sliding passage of a cylindrical object along the tube. The valves or seals may be spaced apart to define a chamber in the tube that contains an ultraviolet light source 10, may comprise one or more O-ring, septum, and/or duckbill valve, and there may be a combination of more than one valve and/or seal at one or both ends of the chamber. The tube or chamber may comprise a fluid extraction port 13, e.g. for connection to a suction source 17, and/or a fluid supply port. In use, the assembly is intended to contain, and to sterilise and/or remove, infectious aerosols that may be generated during medical procedures, and may form an access port of an endoscope, trocar, ventilation mask, or sealed rectal examination garment.

The invention relates to a sterilizable and reusable ultraviolet-resistant elastomer composites including an elastomeric matrix comprising at least one elastomer; and an UV-resistant additive incorporated into the elastomeric matrix. The ultraviolet-resistant elastomer composite remains mechanically robust over at least 150 sterilization cycles, enabling safe reuse following ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI). Beyond N95 masks, these UVGI-compatible ultraviolet-resistant elastomer composites have potential utility in other PPE applications to address the broader issue of single-use waste.
