Stemming reduces inflected words to their stem or root form.
For example the words fishing, fished, fish, and fisher are reduced to the root word, fish,
so a search for fisher returns all the different variations
Returns only one member of a family of patents
Include Non-Patent literature in results

This invention provides a respirator for detecting viruses which cause respiratory tract infection. The respirator comprises an outer layer, an inner layer, a rapid screening reagent between the outer layer and the inner layer, and a water-resist membrane between the rapid screening reagent and the inner layer. A sample pad of the rapid screening reagent is located on a region close to the nostrils, such that air from the nostrils will arrive the sample pad. Viruses inside the air with vapors or moistures will flow inside the rapid screening reagent through a conjugate pad, a nitrocellulose membrane, and an absorption pad. At least one test line will indicate a corresponding virus.

An antiviral formulation comprising glucosamine and polylysine. The glucosamine (e.g., 1-20% w/w) may be D-glucosamine or N-acetyl-D-glucosamine. The polylysine (e.g., 1-20% w/w) may be e-poly-L-lysine. The formulation may be virucidal, bind non-specifically to a virus, be capable of entrapping a virus on a surface, prevent binding of a virus to a receptor on the surface of a host cell, and/or bind to the part of a virus responsible for facilitating entry into a cell. The glucosamine may bind to a viral surface protein, and/or the polylysine may bind to an amino acid residue or a viral protein’s residues (e.g., glutamine, asparagine). The virus may be coronavirus (e.g., SARS-CoV-2), influenza, parainfluenza, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), rhinovirus, adenovirus, parvovirus. Also claimed is an article which is coated, impregnated, admixed or otherwise associated with the antiviral formulation; and associated methods of preparation. Also claimed is use of the formulation as an antiviral surface spray; and in the prevention of viral infection and/or transmission. Also claimed is the formulation or article for use in the prevention of viral infection and/or transmission of a virus in or between subjects. Also claimed is a kit comprising the antiviral formulation, or glucosamine and polylysine.

A soft medical silicone edged cushion may significantly reduce air leakage and provide comfort to a wearer of a face mask, for example, when the face mask is continually worn by a healthcare worker for a twelve hour shift of medical duty. The cushion may preferably be U-shaped and comprise a cross-section for holding an extra soft silicone gel or air, yet be sufficiently hard and elastic and of predetermined circumference to be adaptable to self-installation to the lateral edges of a face mask and coatable to protect from the escape of air and fit comfortably on a face despite the use of elastic straps with the face mask or the presence of solid plastic lateral edges of an oxygen mask or a ventilator mask. The cushion may be used to cushion a solid plastic laterally edged oxygen or ventilator mask against the use of elastic ties to tie the face mask around a patient's head. The face mask may comprise a UVC source of ultraviolet light controlled by buttons/displays/battery/USB port on the cushion or on a cartridge replacing a filter of an N95 mask.
