A body position adjustment system is a system that helps bedridden users avoid medical ailments resulting from laying on a bed for long periods of time. The system includes a repositioning belt, a translation mechanism, and an anchoring platform. The repositioning belt supports the bedridden user and rotates the bedridden user to prevent bedsores. The translation mechanism facilitates the movement of the repositioning belt without requiring a caretaker to move the bedridden user. The anchoring platform facilitates the mounting of the system to the bedframe. The anchoring platform includes a platform body, a first lateral support, and a second lateral support. The platform body is an elongated structure that fits under the bedframe. The first lateral support and the second lateral support help guide the movement of the repositioning belt in such a way that the movement of the repositioning belt is not obstructed by the bed or bed accessories.

Disclosed in the present invention are a movable seat and a control method therefor, and an apparatus having a storage function. The control method for a movable seat comprises: acquiring the first current rotation speed of wheels when a movable seat is in a manual mode; according to the first current rotation speed, calculating a preset driving force required by the wheels when the movable seat is in an electric mode; acquiring a first switching signal for switching the movable seat from the manual mode to the electric mode; and sending to a driver a driving signal for operating under the preset driving force. During the process of switching the movable seat from the manual mode to the electric mode, rotation speeds of the wheels can be kept consistent, such that a vehicle speed can be kept stable and a user does not experience an obvious speed difference, and thus the comfort is better; and the user can be prevented from colliding with the movable seat or falling off the movable seat due to inertia, and thus the safety is higher.

A standing wheelchair includes a chassis, a pair of rear drive wheels and a pair of front support wheels. The chassis includes a sitting mode, in which a support section of the chassis forms a seat configured to support a user in a sitting position, and a standing mode, in which the support section is configured to support a user in a standing position. The pair of rear drive wheels is connected to the chassis on a rear side of the support section. The pair of front support wheels is connected to the chassis on a front side of the support section, which is opposite the rear side. The rear wheels move closer to the front wheels when the chassis transitions from the sitting mode to the standing mode.

A controlled access aerosolized particle enclosure for isolation of airborne contaminants includes a frame defining a patient isolation region over a patient bed. A linkage attaches the framed enclosure to a patient treatment vehicle, and a flexible elasticized barrier is suspended by the frame for enclosing the patient isolation region. The barrier is formed from deformable planer sheets of a flexible transparent material and extending adjacent to the patient treatment surface forming a draped edge around the bed or transport. A low pressure source is in fluidic engagement with the enclosure for reducing a pressure within the enclosure below that of ambient surroundings, such that the low pressure source provides a pressure for drawing the elasticized barrier against the patient treatment surface for restricting airborne particle passage from the enclosure to the ambient surroundings, but limits the negative pressure to avoid substantial deformation or collapse of the enclosure.
