Gemäß einer ersten Alternative sieht die Erfindung vor, dass in Luftströmungsrichtung zwischen dem Plasmaerzeuger (14) und der Filteranordnung (18) motorisch verstellbare Luftleitmittel (20) angeordnet sind, mittels derer - in Abhängigkeit von ihrer Stellung - der Luftstrom (16) in einer die Filteranordnung durchströmenden oder in einer die Filteranordnung (18) umgehenden Weise zum Luftauslass leitbar ist. Gemäß einer zweiten Alternative sieht die Erfindung vor, dass die Filteranordnung (18) mittels einer motorischen Stelleinrichtung wählbar in eine vom Luftstrom (16) durchströmbare oder umgehbare Stellung bringbar ist.
