Stemming reduces inflected words to their stem or root form.
For example the words fishing, fished, fish, and fisher are reduced to the root word, fish,
so a search for fisher returns all the different variations
Returns only one member of a family of patents
Include Non-Patent literature in results

A method for quantification of a target molecule of a biological sample distributed across a plurality of partitions is provided. The method includes receiving fluorescent emission data generated by a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for each partition of a set of partitions and identifying a partition quantity metric for each partition in the set of partitions to generate a set of partition quality metrics. Each partition quantity metric correlates to a number of target molecules within its respective partition based on the fluorescent emission data. The set of partition quantity metrics is used to determine a state of target molecule amplification within each partition of the set of partitions. The method further includes determining a quantity of the target molecule in the biological sample based on the set of partition quantity metrics.

Presented herein are systems and methods for selecting a subject for a cancer therapy based on detection of allelic imbalances in cell-free deoxyribonucleic acid (cfDNA) in a bodily fluid sample of the subject. A computing system may obtain, for a subject at risk of or diagnosed with cancer, a first sequencing dataset generated by plasma whole genome sequencing of cfDNA in a bodily fluid sample from the subject. The computing system may obtain a second sequencing dataset generated by whole genome sequencing of gDNA in a normal tissue from the subject. The computing system may perform phasing on the first sequencing dataset and the second sequencing dataset. Based on the phasing, the computing system may identify phase groups. Using the phase groups, the computing system may determine B allele frequency scores and/or fragment scores. Based on the scores, the computing system may select the subject for cancer therapy.

. In the first step of amplification, primers are employed that that bind a target sequence; and post-amplification, a barcoded primer is ligated onto the newly amplified double-stranded DNA, the barcoded primer having a free end that allows the attachment of additional barcodes. This strategy provides for improved amplification efficiency over methods previously used in the art.

Methods for characterizing analytes present in a sample of individual cells. The initial sample processing steps take place on a per-cell basis within an individual partition (e.g., droplet) to tag or barcode each cell with a cell-specific barcode (e.g. using capture probe with cell barcode bound to bead). Subsequent sample processing steps take place on a flow cell surface with transposase to generate location-specific information that serves to link individual sequences reads with one another based on intrinsic molecular identifiers, adjacent fragmenting and cluster formation. The disclosed workflow generates expression-level data (based on read count) as well as linked read data to facilitate genome or full transcript assembly.
