(EN) PURPOSE: A planar heating element and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent a carbon fiber body from receiving the tensile force by arranging a second insulation layer between a carbon fiber body and a first insulation layer. CONSTITUTION: A carbon fiber(10) is formed by weaving a carbon fiber. A bonding layer(20) is formed in single-side or both sides of the carbon fiber. The bonding layer has a heat-resistance temperature more than the heat-generating temperature of the carbon fiber. A second insulation layer(31) is integrally combined with the carbon fiber by the bonding layer. The second insulation layer is formed to a thermoplastic resin which has heat-resistance performance more than the heat-generating temperature of the carbon fiber. A first insulation layer(32) is formed to the thermoplastic resin which has a heat-resistance performance less than the heat-generating temperature of the carbon fiber. (KO) 본 발명은 탄소섬유 면상발열체 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 탄소섬유(11)를 직조하여 형성된 탄소섬유체(10); 상기 탄소섬유체(10)의 발열온도 이상의 내열성능을 가지며, 상기 탄소섬유체(10)의 일면 또는 양면에 형성되는 접착층(20); 상기 탄소섬유체(10)의 발열온도 이상의 내열성능을 가지는 열가소성수지로 구성되며, 상기 접착층(20)에 의해 상기 탄소섬유체(10)에 일체로 결합되는 제2절연층(31); 및 상기 발열온도 미만의 내열성능을 가지는 열가소성수지로 구성되며, 상기 탄소섬유체(10)의 발열에 의해 열변형이 발생되어도 상기 탄소섬유체(10)의 탄소섬유(11)에 직접적으로 인장력이 전달되지 않도록 상기 탄소섬유체(10)와 접촉되지 않게 상기 제2절연층(31)을 커버링하는 제1절연층(32);을 포함하여 구성됨을 기술적 요지로 하여, 폴리염화비닐과 같이 비교적 저온의 내열온도를 가지는 열가소성수지를 코팅재로 이용함에 있어서 코팅재의 열변형으로 인한 탄소섬유의 손상 및 발열효율 저하를 방지할 수 있는 탄소섬유 면상발열체 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것이다.
